Very good food, service a bit cold

We stopped in here after a walk around the Spanish steps. The service was quite relaxed, but we seemed to be a interruption to his evening?! Either way the waiter was polite enough, and made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the meal. Food was some of the best Iv had in Rome... read more

we walked in an hour and 20 minutes before closing and the waiter rudely asked us to come earlier next time. he didn't bring us utensils, forgot our water, and mixed up the orders. not to mention the food was absolutely horrific– we hardly ate. had to order room service when we got back. AVOID.

We found this restaurant by accident while out looking for somewhere for dinner. We stayed only a 5 minute walk away and wish we'd found it sooner. Menu has a fantastic range, they do fixed menus for a reasonable price and the wine selection is impressive. Staff were very attentive, food was prepared and cooked freshly. Very reasonably priced compared... More

After a long walk, we desided to have lunch. We went a couple of quarters south of the Plazza di Spagna, and found Al Piacere. From the outside it looked quite ordinary, and even inside it does not look very particular. The food, however, vas outstanding. We had pizza, one of the best we had during our stay i Rome.... More

We discovered this Pizzeria, a two minutes walk from our hotel and were so pleased with the service, the quality and the price of the food and the wines that we returned for a light lunch the day of our departure. This is certainly not a fast food restaurant ast the name Pizzeria would appear to suggest..

We were tired after a long morning in the park around the Villa Borghese, and we'd walked from the Piazza del Popolo down to the Spanish Steps. I try to avoid restaurants near any of the major sites, and so we went about 2 blocks futher from the Spanish Steps, and stumbled in to Al Piacere, not knowing what to... More

This place is simply awesome. Small, cozy, great staff, especially a nice old man with glasses :) Food was delicious, loved lasagna, pasta bolognese, pizza. we had 4 days in Rome and this place was definitely not close to the place we lived, but we went there twice in 4 days.. I`m a real foodie and trust me those guys... More

Taste 12 Euro bottle of house red followed by yummy spicy pizza, seafood pasta, amazing artichoke and more. Each dish has worth going back for.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
