The food is really great and unusual for Italy. Biological, and very original, especially the vegetatable salade on the bread. The only thing that bothered me a bit, is that I didn't feel really welcome. Perhaps I didn't fit in the profile, a woman of 56 on her own, but everyone was welcomed very friendly, and told abortus the concept... More

I came across this place on trip advisor and it was one of the best snacks/meals I had in Italy. It was a little hard to find, tucked away in Trastevere, but we were glad we put in the extra effort to track it down. They didn't have a menu and instead put together a plate of items to sample... This place doesn't have a menu - you eat what they've bought in fresh that day. Everything is so fresh and so good, the flavour was amazing. The service is good and you can also buy some ingedients to take away. Come for the food, not the infrastructure: not the sturdiest or thickest table or chairs, plastic mats on the... More

Cozy, nice, traditional and jet modern, with great local and organic products, snacks (just appetizers) & wine at incredibly good prices! Enjoy some snacks and a great glass of wine, chat with the locals, buy a perfect souvenir from Italy = marmalade, spices...beautifully packed like made by granny! And be sure once you have been here and tried some of... More

The food is great and so are the people! It's a must for Rome. The vegan message is spreading through this amazing and fresh cuisine! And they are also 100% powered by green energy! It's all made by this family farm that makes the best dishes! Good luck Tastevere

We went here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and it lived up to the fab reviews. An absolute must when visiting Rome. This is a farm shop that also provides lunch in the form of a platter of cheese, meat, bread, and chutneys. Organic wine and beers are also available. The service is great and nothing too much... Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
