This restaurant was right by the apartment I was staying in. I had been going in the morning for my epresso and had decided to try dinner. I am not fluent in Italian at all but no worries the waiters were amazingly helpful. I am also a vegetarian so I was not sure what to get. The waiter recommended the... More

My Fiancee and I had the all you can eat pizza dinner here. From the moment we walked in it was great! Its just far enough off the touristy path that you get a great feel for the authentic city. We are both vegetarian and they were incredibly accommodating of that. The starters were a delicious variety of bruschetta dishes,... More

Found this gem by accident again and were completely overwhelmed by the taste of the food! We had an antipasti plate and two pizza's. Everything was delicious. Very authentic, Italian restaurant.

This place was a 5 minute walk from my apartment rental in Rome and it was wonderful. It was recommended by the apartment manager. For some reason, I really didn't expect much, but boy was I wrong. My party ate there 4 times during our 3 day stay. Although we spoke little to no Italian, the service was wonderful and... More

My best dining experience of my trip the staff was amazing, went out of their way to ensure I was happy and dealt excellently with my allergies. The food is spectacular! The mussels are to die for and the steak was cooked perfectly. I have gone every day while in Rome and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants... More

I've never written a recommendation but promised myself I now had to. This is a great restaurant just outside of the center of Rome. The tastes of Italy as good as you will get them: pomodori, mozarella, fresh fish, great chianti (not even a favorite of mine). Order the pizza in the brochure and call it pizza Photo. They won't... I ate here a couple of times. Great, fresh-made pasta and seafood dishes. Excellent wine list to. A little pricier than the tourist restaurants, but worth it.

This restaurant is deceiving from the outside, being much bigger on the inside than it appears. The food is really tasty and the service comes with a smile. Prices are reasonable, the house wine at 5EU per litre is drinkable and the atmosphere is great. We were so impressed that we went 4 times during our stay in Pantanella. The... More

We found the La Pantenella restaurant when walking back to our hotel from the train station. We decided to give the restaurant a try - and we are really pleased we did The food is delicious - truly traditional Italian food The owner and his family - very warm and welcoming The atmosphere was cosy with the Italian charm My... On a midweek night we were two of only a handful of customers - us tourists, the rest (from the apparent familiarity between the proprietor and them, as well as the fact that they had their pompier outfits on) clearly locals. Telling the chef/proprietor that we were happy for him to serve whatever he felt best that night, we were... More
