We discovered this restaurant by accident when walking down to Trastevere from the Piazzale Garibaldi. We were encouraged to see the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2014 decal in the window and we were not disappointed. Three of us had a delicious lunch, the best meal we had in Rome in three days. The generous portion of calamari consisted of large... More

We ate here on our last night in Rome and were just disappointed that we didn't find it sooner. This was defiantly the best pasta we had in the whole time we were in Rome.

We visited three times in 5 days, The pasta was PERFECT. We truede the fettucine with meatballs, the ravioli in sage sauce, and finally the fettucine with White truffel and it was, without any doubt, the Best pasta we have ever had! Also the settings are really nice, the people are kind and helpfull, oh, and the tiramisu tastes like... More

Staying at our nearby favourite hotel in Rome, Donna Camilla Savelli, we had often walked past Osteria número 6, but feeling weary after a long days sightseeing together with shopping on via del Corso, we thought this Monday night we would give this unpretentious little Osteria a try. As we like to eat early 6:30 we found nona outside smoking... More

Arriving exhausted from a long drive from Tuscany and dropping the car off at the crazy airport, we checked into our lovely hotel (Donna Camilla Savelli) just up the road. Starving and a tad cranky, we wanted lunch as soon as we could get it! The staff recommended the place across the street, but of course it was closed. We... More

This restaurant offers clean, no fuss, modern italian food. Make sure you try the truffle if it's in season. Shared a meatball fettuccine for entrée, it was tasty but only had 3 small meatballs. There are two other excellent restaurants near by too ( one to its right when facing the restaurant, and one across the road), give them a... More

The proprietor takes well-earned pride in her food. Probably the best place in Trastevere. Excellent pasta and sea food.

My friends and I searched for authentic Italian places to eat while in Rome. We happened upon this place and the owner accommodated us even though we didn't make reservations. She made us laugh and feel like we were at a home. We loved the idea that her mom was the cook.

During our stay in Rome we pretty much liked all the restaurant we ate at but this one was one of our favorite. We rarely go twice to the same restaurant but we kind of got lost looking for another restaurant we ended in front of Numero 6 and decided to eat there again has we enjoyed the food so... More

My wife and I visited here looking for a good Carbonara to quench her craving of such a dish. Found it at 9p nearly full, with a few open tables outside. I would suggest a reservation for a party more than 2 on the weekends. We ordered a bottle of the house white. It was smooth and very good for... More
