For a start, the name of this restaurant is very inviting. I had dinner there twice recently once where it was a tasting menu with wines from the Lazio region. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. The Speck di Anatra was an incredible surprise. On the second evening we ordered a la carte and the experience was... More

I went there with my boyfriend (we are both french) and I think It was our best evening im Roma ! The restaurant is a bit far from all the city attraction but definitely worth it ! The food is fresh and tasty, best pasta ! We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling white wine and all along the... More

We had a lovely dinner at this nice place. The food is really good, typical italian dishes, but well prepared in an refreshing way. The pure tastes, the nice wine, the friendly people (who speak fine English) and the nice ambiance gives you a real italian evening. This is a place to remember.

The owner and staff of this place were great. They were friendly and attentive to my family and me. The food was a mixed bag... I had the pasta with white truffles... It was fantastic. My wife and kids had the spaghetti with clams and the ravioli. The spaghetti was way too salty. The ravioli dish was ok, overly dry... More

This restaurant is not in the real center of the city so that you must take a cab (or the Metro A - Eroi stop) to reach it (about 10-15 euro in 10 minutes from the center), but it's worth it. Uncommon courses will satisfy your taste. All the courses come from a reworked version of the Italian culinary tradition

We are staying in Rome for just over a month and have eaten at La Locanda del Poeta three times so far. Each meal has been impeccably prepared and presented; each has tasted utterly divine. The restaurant has a crisp, hip yet comfortable vibe. The same friendly waitress is always there- she works every night. She speaks English and is... More

Came here last night with two friends with no reservation. Very nice food, friendly staff, one of whom created an English version of the menu on a computer, without us asking for it. Decent wine selection. Relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

While staying at the Rome Cavalieri hotel we decided to eat our lunches in town and our dinners away from the hustle and bustle of Rome proper - taking advantage of the neighborhood eateries surrounding our wonderful hotel. Are we ever glad we did! Per usual, we arrived early by Roman standards at 7:30 (19:30) when most restaurants open for... More

Had a great, early dinner on their front patio with my wife & our 8 year old son. Delicious food, a good wine recommendation and an exceptionally friendly & helpful waitress. A nice mix of 30s-ish couples, small groups & assorted locals. Would definitely return the next time I'm in Rome.
