Lovely Place

This a little restaurant with great charme, a place where you feel right at home and where you find a really delicious cuisine. The owner is very friendly without being obtrusive and makes helpful suggestions for starters, mains and wines, if you need. A lovely experience! Will return next time.

The food was as first-rate as the service, which was warm and generous. A little oasis, close to the Pyramid and far from the tourist-heavy areas. An unexpected gem.

A fantastic experience from beginning to end. We were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table where the owner gave a brief description of every item on the menu. This was even followed by suggestions on wine based on our main course pick. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and not to mention the food was incredible. I... More

An excellent experiance from every point of view. The atmosphere is great and could be just right for anything: from a romantic meal to one with good friends. The owner does not just "present you with a menu" but actually takes the trouble of going through it with you, explaining the different sauces and cooking proceedures. The food, when it... More

We had a breathtaking night at "La fata ignorante". Me and my husband were impressed with all the menú courses, actually the food was very good and the service was very attentive and on point. For " antipasto" we ordered a potato pie served on a tomato sauce. It was superb. As a second course i had a beef, it... More

Amazing restaurant that I can't recommended highly enough, I booked direct by email as gets booked up. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was to die for as was the wine. Its a little out the way depending on were you are staying, we stayed on the via del corso and would suggest getting a cab... More

My wife and I chose this restaurant from some really positive reviews on TA and we certainly weren't disappointed! From the moment we entered we were made fantastically welcome and the experience only got better from there onwards. We both chose 3 courses that included a couple of beautiful steaks and a fab wine recommendation! Don't hesitate to visit....you'll regret... More

If you are passionate about food, and appreciate a great experience, you must try this place. My husband and I arrived for a late dinner, and were greeted by a very polite server, and then the owner himself. This restaurant has the personal touch of the owner throughout - starting from the food and wine selections to the service. I... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
