Certain people seem to be attracted to be attracted to crappy service from indifferent or even hostile waiters. Somehow, they think this makes the food tastier and more authentic. If you are one of those people, you are going to love Da Baffetto. I have been living in Italy for three months now. I have had better pizza served by... More

We arrived at the Restaurant after 6:45pm and it was already full. A lot of choices for Pizza and we ordered 3 of them. Compared to most of the North America "Pizza", these thin crust base pizza is truly amazing. The flesh tomato sauce with mozzarella cheese and basil.....Must try

This pizzeria is a must-go in Rome. As every travel guide tells you, they serve the best pizza in town and that could well be true! Apart from that, a visit to Da Bafetto is an experience to eat in a authentic Roman pizzeria.

Terrible service. First, they tried to seat us directly next to someone, even though the place was practically empty. Second, they brought my husbands pesto pasta (which was far too salty) a good five minutes before my pizza. I insisted he eat- otherwise it would have been terribly cold if he politely waited for me, but I was starving! (Pregnant... More

We have been to Rome on numerous occasions and went again last week for the Rugby. We always eat at Da Baffetto. It is always rammed with a long queue outside. Lots of locals mix with tourists and it is considered by many locals, including taxi drivers, to be the best pizzeria in Rome. Located near to Piazza Navona it... More

this is legit authentic no additives pizza. The dough is basically flour and water and the sauce is tomato... no nonsense, fresh, hot and old school the way it should be. It's helpful to speak basic Italian here as your experience will be better than average. They appreciated my attempts and went above and beyond for us

Da Baffetto appears in nearly every tourist guide on Rome I have ever laid eyes upon. I found out that is very popular not only among tourists but also among young Romans. The place is not impressive, but it looks authentic and the house wine is alright. And certainly the pizza is very good. Then again, it is very difficult... More
