Amazing food and service!

This place is well worth a visit. My husband and I arrived in Rome today and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel and what a great recommendation! Food was just delicious (my husband had the lamb and I had the special - spaghetti in a truffle oil) and the service was excellent. The owner... read more

The service was excellent. The staff were doting and friendly, explained the food and the pairings with great detail. Suggested plates for us to share and try. Quiet and elegant. Food was perfect It is a mid-high range restaurant with excellent service. Definitely a wonderful experience.

The service was excellent. It's in a quite neighborhood. The best buffalatta I have had in this world. It's with tomato sauce and onions. Tasted excellent. I had the clam pasta and that was very good too. My husband had creamy pasta with pecorino. He was not too happy with it but overall great food.

Recommended by our concierge and....wow! Friendly, doting staff translated every detail of the menu. Ordered pumpkin flan since that sounded unusual, and it was outstanding with surprising depth of flavor. Others split shrimp tempura and raved. Waiter sensed our interest in the lamb ravioli and offered us a small plate of 3 for us each to try since we ordered... More

This is a great dining experience--so much so we went twice in 8 days. The wine was fabulous, the food was excellent for everyone in our party who went and Sergio, the owner, was a pretty extraordinary host. From the Prosecco he gave us initially to his excellent recommendations and other complimentary things, he couldn't have been better. It's rare... More

We visited this restaurant on our vacation in Rome. Restaurant is situated near the US embassy so not very central but worth the walk. Service was great and food was divine. My only recommendation is to include more decor as the place looks a bit bare and not very cosy. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended.

Best meal we had in Rome. And the service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive (took time to explain all the dishes, recommend wine, etc) but he also gave us our space to dine leisurely. The food was sensational. I was curious about the flan with pumpkin special and it honestly was the best thing I ate during our... More

The restaurant was only a few doors away from the hotel we were staying in. We ate late on a Sunday night and we were very impressed. I love the dining room - It's modern and classy with a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service we received from the wait staff was outstanding! I can't praise them enough. They... More

The restaurant was a short walk away from our hotel. My husband found this via Yelp and thought we'd give it a go. We came for a late-ish (by our standards) dinner. Around 8pm or so. It wasn't too busy inside so we nabbed a lovely seat by the window. I noticed there was a very pretty outdoor seating area,... More

Brilliant service from all the staff. The owner makes sure every person is catered for just as they need. The food is classic Rome and perfectly cooked.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
