My boyfriend and I went looking for this location after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. There wasn't a big selection but the staff was really friendly and helpful. The ice cream was good but nothing amazing.

On a recent trip to Rome my family frequented this shop at least once a day. Super flavors and incredibly friendly, SMILING service! They were very efficient and had great patience with our party of 12, all trying to decide which flavor to try next. The gelato was excellent.

Staff very friendly. Simple flavours on offer, but all tasted great. Chocolate and Coffee favorites. I visited earlier in the day when I first arrived and just had to go back after dinner on the walk back to my hotel.

We got our first Italian gelatos on the way to the fountain, at a place called Gelo Stellato on via S. Andrea Delle Fratte. 2€ for a two-flavor medium-size cup - banana and nutella! The staff were very friendly.

We found this little gelato store by chance and enjoyed all the flavours we tried. There were some quite unusual gelati flavours like grape and twice as many flavours as most of the other stores we had been in. Very friendly staff.

I thought a crammed full small "Coppa Rosa" with two flavours for just €3 was exceptional value. The choices were terrific, service friendly with English spoken well. You can either sit in the premises or stroll up to the Spanish Steps with your purchase. Well worth a short diversion to try if in the area.

When we saw this first it was very high on the list of the best in Rome. I see it has now fallen back. It deserves to. Not nearly as good as others, e.g. nearby Valentino. Didn't even finish my cone.

The first place we went to to buy ice cream tried to charge us from nine euros and up, so I suppose we thought five euros was cheap(er) and we paid it here. We learnt later that ice creams start at 2 euros in most places. But it was delicious and they had lots of flavours to choose from. Friendly... More

We came across this wonderful ice cream shop while walking back from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi fountain. As soon as you go in the front entrance there is an amazing choice of ice cream. It is at this point you are hit with the dilemma:Should I have a small, medium or large cone or tub or a wafer basket.... More

So happy we discovered this wonderful shop. Homemade icecream, endless flavours and great value for money. Very friendly staff and sparkly clean premises. Just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain or to the Spanish Steps so a great position too. Next time we are in Rome we will definitely be back!
