We loved that there was a local crowd there. There r not a lot of tourists in Rome in January. The pasta was very good. We has cooked veggies not deep fried. Portions were huge! I will return. Maybe tonight!

The place is a tourist trap where like Mom "makes the pasta in front of people. In practice this is a simple pasta with basic sauces and no creativity or taste. The service is horrible, no sensitivity and no attempt to make us feel comfortable. Prices are high and definitely not worth the disgusting food in this restaurant.

Mamma making fresh pasta in the middle of hte restaurant. Staff spoke some English and even though we couldn't always understand each other they make a significant effort with us. Showing us how to make different pasta shapes and showing us their skills. Amazing food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Well located.

This place was recommended by a local for having quality homemade pasta. We were lucky enough to get in early during a lunch service but there was a line out the door as we left! Delicious fresh pasta cooked perfectly al dente. I did find the sauce a little plain but ordered a simple pomodore so it's likely others may... More

Just off of Campo di Fiori . Four of us had a wonderful lunch all eating a different pasta dish. You can watch the lady make the pasta right in front of you.Service was great and the wine was good also. Reasonable price. I would go back again and try dinner next time.

I still have wet dreams about this delicious home made pasta, prepared in front of us, by Mama in the kitchen window, and served in rural clay bowls of pure delight! We had to go back there once more for our last meal before leaving Rome in Oct. 2014, we were that intrigued. The Americana is unbelievable, and of cource... More

When we visited Rome we were expecting amazing food, but many restuarants we went to did not have a WOW factor and on many occasions I thought my own cooked italian meals are so much tastier. This resturant was recommended to us my a local Italian. The pasta is made by an older lady who sits in the window and... More

Nice food in a very cool neighborhood close to the flower market. The bathroom was very dirty though, it's not what you would expect.

You will have the best pasta of your life here, trust me!!! We ate here 3 times, two dinners and one lunch. I couldn't get enough of the pasta which they make fresh, right in front of you!!! The portions are huge and the service and people watching is great. Make reservations as they are very busy with a long... More
