Wonderful!

Best restaurant we've eaten in so far during our stay in Rome. Don't eat in any of the over priced restaurants that face onto Campo Di Fiori but go down the side street to this great restaurant which we think is family run. This small restaurant near the Campo De' Fiori was excellent. Our waiter was Mimo and he helped us decide on what to eat. This restaurant was recommended to us at our hotel and did not disappoint. The portions were large and tasty.

The food was kind of average tasting, maybe a little too smothered in tomato. But honestly the pasta seemed to be odd, so heavy. It seemed to just sit in your stomach like a rock. If you want to just fill up on food for the purpose of function this would be great, but for those in search of something... More

My wife and I were in Italy for the month of April 2015 and we had been warned not to expect much of the food in the tourist areas of Rome. We stopped by Osteria da Fortunata by chance. The antipasto was wonderful and the home made ravioli was very flavorful also. The prices were around 20 euro a person... More

I feel like we were at a different restaurant from other reviewers, but it could simply be a matter of what people are looking for. Super nice staff, lively atmosphere, worse than mediocre food and some of the higher prices we paid. With their popularity though, sure, why not charge more? Gummy, overly cheesed carbonara, stingy meatball entree for 17... More

Marco and Mimo are great hosts and provided us with great advice and service. The service was quick even on an evening with a full house. The food is straightforward and cooked perfectly. Suggest you call to book. A great place to go on our first night in Rome.

Casual. Comfortable. Mimo was great server. Good wines under 20 euro. Great homemade pastas right there in front of you. Excellent eggplant (cheesy and delicious). So many crap tourist joints in Rome. You really need to look hard and if anywhere nearby, this is an excellent choice.

We enjoyed a fine meal. Our waiter, Marco, was extremely friendly and very helpful. The pasta was made fresh and all of our meals were excellent. The desserts were great too. The restaurant was full and we were glad we had called to make a reservation.

Anyone who says the only good reviews of this place must be coming from friends of the owner is talking rubbish. We stumbled across this place by pure accident and are so glad we did. I think we were enticed by the chef rolling fresh pasta in the front window (which I later ended up eating). The food was great,... More
