When you are in Italy for the first time, what else do you do other than sightseeing ? You look for places that serve you freshly made pastas unlike the "Italian restaurants" one finds every where else in the world ...glad to have found this one right around the corner of Campo di fiori..where we were staying ..we ordered four... This good restaurant was let down by awful service. Yes, it was a busy night, but our waiter was totally out of control. 15 minutes for menus, a further 20 minutes for drinks, then he took our order a full 45 minutes after we had sat down. We'd have walked if time wasn't marching on. When the food arrived, my... More

A warm, gray, humid, July afternoon, wandering from the Pantheon to Campo da Fiori and beyond and the heavens opened up. Luckily we were close to via Pellegrini, and able to duck under the awning at Osteria da Fortunata, before it filled up with people, and we got the tables directly in front of the pasta makers. With a perfect... More

My wife and I agreed that this place serves the best pasta that we have tasted. The pasta dishes we had were fresh, full of delicate flavours, and cooked to perfection (al dente). Mimo was our charming waiter who not only has good English but also shared our Aussie sense of humour. The prices of the dishes were about the... More

Great lunch. Homemade pasta. Friendly service. Mussels. Treated kids well. Tolerated our poor language skills. Oh. And homemade hearty bread !

What a treat! Authentic Italian. Handmade pasta right in front of you! Literally, Nonna sits in the window making pasta. Great, friendly staff and quick service!

Recommended by our VRBO owner. Based on the glowing reviews, it looks like our experience was atypical - too bad for us. The lady making pasta was cool. Location and atmosphere was very cool. Guess you can't win on all fronts .......... the carbonara was SO salty. oh well ......

Homemade pasta, handmade while you wait. Simple menu, great service and good wine. Location is fantastic for some live music in the square. We genuinely had a great time and we will be back when we return to Rome.

Our hotel recommended this as our first meal in Roma and it was incredible! Was the best meal of a 3 week tour of Italy. This family run establishment had everyone doing a little something. A mixture of locals and tourists here. There's a table set up in one of the doorways to the outside seating area where a very... More
