This place was recommended to me by Tony, a restaurant owner in Grimsby Ontario, Canada. He said the food was excellent and the atmosphere wonderful. It is all that he said. I went there with my two granddaughters and it was quite a treat to see la signora working the pasta at the window. The meal was very good and... More

I'm home or at least they'll make you feel like it! My husband, 9 yr old son and myself were visiting for the holidays and TripAdvisor had a good review so we tried our luck and ideed were more than happy. I recommended this place to several friends and family members that told me they were going to Rome, that... More

The waiters were friendly and the lady making pasta was nice. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. We liked the tomato, mozzarella and arugula salad and gnochi, but the fettuchini was not very good. Portions were a bit to big and it took forever to get the bill.

That said, the service was friendly. But the food and the entire concept ("see nonna making pasta") is horrendous. Complete and utter tourist trap. I can't believe I fell for it! Even more unbelievable are the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. My brain hurts as I try to understand whether people are confusing this restaurant with the other one that shares... More

Really tasteful homemade Italian food with some amazing dishes. Great experience and topped off with a fantastic waiter Mimo whom made the visit unforgettable for us and our kids.

My husband and I went to this resturaunt after reading the tripadvisor reviews. We were highly dissapointed by the service. We waited 45 minutes for the main course. The food was average and highly priced. Not worth all the hype. Avoid.

Thank god we ate here after a disappointing meal at Da Francesco on our first night in Rome! Da Fortunata was delicious! We had the cace e pepe and the fettuccine with oxtail sauce. Both fresh pastas were cooked perfectly al dente and the sauces were yummy as well! Simple but bursting with flavor. The oxtail was my favorite and... More

We went here based on the Trip Advisor reviews, taking a break from our Katie Parla app recommendations. We didn't do that again! We started with the artichoke, which was a tiny bit bland. Then we had a mixed salad with fennel and plum tomatoes. Like most restaurants in Rome, they bring you the olive oil and vinegar so you... More

In this restaurant you get to see how your pasta is made from the scratch ( rolling the dough and cutting the pasta in different shape). The bread and Mozzarella are divine and my Carbonara dish was one of the best I had ever had in Italy. Definitely worth trying!
