Tasty

We came across this restaurant by chance, when we were looking for somewhere to eat. The food was and the staff were friendly and polite. The menu had a lot of choice and I was unsure what to have, the waiter recommend a couple of dishes and I went with one of his choices. I was not disappointed... read more

My friend and I stayed up the road from this place which was recommended by our hotel. We ate here three nights in a row! The food was amazing and extremely well priced compared to the rest of Rome. We tried the bruschetta, two types of veal dishes and about five different pasta dishes and they were all delicious. We... More

Went there for sunday lunch, turned up at around 12:30 and it was quite empty - by the time we left it was getting packed! 'Fiori di Zucca fritta' was amazing and so were the meat mains! Well priced, 40 euros for 3 people - antipasto, secondi and espresso!

We found this restaurant listed in Rick Steves travel guide in the Monti section. Located on a cobble lane, we elected to sit outside and enjoy the local ambiance. The wait staff was a little uneven at first but got better as the meal progressed. We started out with cheese and prosciutto antipasto which was quite good. My wife had... More

If you love tasty sauces, generous pastas and perfectly cooked meat then the drunken cow is for you. If you like extremely overpriced tourist food then this is NOT the place for you! Also the waiters are cute ;)

I ordered the gnocchi and it was quite good! But then I ordered a side dish of mixed green salad and they gave it to me dry with no dressing. I was shocked, I don't got to restaurants to dress my own food. I could have made that in my hotel room. Disappointed...

Queues outside didn't prevent the waiter asking if we would like a glass of prosecco while we waited. We had seen the restaurant packed the night before so wanted to try it and enjoyed the vibe of the street whilst we Waite. The weather was hot and humid for an evening so we were seated outside. The tables were close... More

We ate at this restaurant three nights in a row, it was that good! Gnochi in pesto sauce, fettuccini with mushrooms and bacon, and the best panna cotta ever! The place is popularly and a bit crowded so you may need to wait, but it's worth it.

Today is a special day for my spouse so wanted to make today special. We passed by here on the way to the Colosseum so it was natural to see if it was open for lunch. It was and we were able to sit on the back. It is so hot outside today, the lure of a cafe table outside... More
