So good experience, we might go twice.

Went there for an early evening meal with my family. I had a recommendation for this restaurant from my friend, who had visited this restaurant just last May. We were not disappointed. One big reason to go there, was that they served gluten free pasta dishes there, as my daughter is celiac. We... read more

I stopped here for lunch. The service was slow and I had to ask multiple times for simple things: napkin, water. I understand that Italian restaurant service isn't fast, but this was slow for Italian standards. The food was ok for the value. High point was a truly talented accordian player who played just across the street for a few... More

The English translation of the name of this restaurant is The Drunken Cow. Its located on Via Urbana one block over and about 4 blocks down from Santa Maria Maggiore basilica. The first night we tried to go it was packed and we got tired of waiting. We gave it a second try the next night at a different time... More

I took my girlfriend on a date at The Drunken Cow. It was good and the prices were reasonable, the wine was really cheap but not that good. I would recommend it.

We stopped by this restaurant our first night in Rome. The food and wine was very good but after just coming from Positano where EVERYTHING was off the charts and before that Florence where food quality was mixed at best, this was very good. Some of the dishes, particularly the meat dishes were prepared in ways that were a little... More

I liked the place, the food was good, and the prices weren't terribly high (It's not cheap though. Some Spaghetti alla Puttanesca were about 10 euro). The only bad thing was that the restaurant was quite full and they took an eternity to attend the table. And after finishing I have to stand up and ask how to pay, because... More

You can tell how good the food is here if people are queuing up for a table. The restaurant is very popular with younger people but it isn't a noisy place, just trendy and somewhere nice. I had veal with spicy mushrooms while my partner had a saltimbocca. Both excellent. Finished off with a cherry trat for me and a... More

We were staying in Rome on Via Urbana for 6 nights and normally visited the small restaurant opposite La Vacca as the decor looked more inviting there. However one afternoon we found that our usual place was closed and we went to La Vacca instead. It was a quite time so it was not a test of speed of service,... More

We came here with a party of 7 at 830 on a Sunday night. We got a table inside, after 10 minutes were given menus and after our 3 year old had a tantrum we got TEXTAS. We wanted to get him a drink. A waiter nodded and never returned and others walked around and tidied up the table w... More

I was so happy to find this place. The food is excellent, and the staff does a great job of making sure you have a good experience. Their success shows in the good crowd of patrons that come here to dine. I had dinner there 3 times, and would have returned again if my stay in Rome wasn't over. PS.... More
