Deliciously casual

We ate here twice in Rome and loved both dining experiences. We shared the gnocchi alla pesto, which was one of the best dishes I had while in Rome. Waitstaff was friendly and happily helped with our Italian word pronunciation.

I enjoyed this really cute, casual restaurant in the trendy Monti neighborhood. We had fantastic pasta dishes and (again) buffalo mozz as a starter. I had the cacio de pepe and even though it was a bit on the heavy side it was deeeelicious. Probably my best meal in Rome. Lovely neighborhood as well.

I arrived with a heavy bag on my shoulder and the man said to wait and he'll clear a table for me, he then preceded to serve to another customer, take two bills. When I went to put my bag down on the chair got flustered at me. I sat at the table for 15mjns before being given a menu... More

We only spent a few days in Rome, this restaurant was close to the hotel and we enjoyed two very nice meals there. Service is not going to knock your socks off, if your in a hurry, so go thinking we're going to relax and take our time... Like Romans when they eat.. One little thing that I found very... More

Great food and large portions. One of the best places that we ate in Rome. The plates of pasta were huge. Even locals seemed to be surprised by the portions. Highly recommend eating the local dishes such as saltimbocca alla romana and bucatini all’amatriciana. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!!

Great authentic Italian food, wait staff speak English. We had stuffed zucchini flowers & 3 bread toppings for starters and the meatballs and arabiata pasta for mains... With us both finishing on a high with a chocolate soufflé... All amazing!

Will have a chance to sit near the kitchen. The chef adds 1/4 cup oil to everying!!! My wife got potatoes that were swimming in the oil, my pasta was swimming in the oil , flower zucchini were deep fried with so much batter that nothing left from zucchinis. We saw the plates coming back and 90 % of plates... More

Food was really good, not too pricey and portions were large and included the sides (most Italian restaurants don't). Service was slow and totally stuffed our order up. I was brought a tripe when i ordered sausage ( who in their right mind orders tripe??) everyone else had finished when I finally got my meal. Others ordered more drinks to... More
