This was easily one of our favorite restaurants in Rome. The food was inexpensive, and absolutely delicious! We stumbled across it one evening in Monti because the place where we were initially planning to eat was closed. It was crowded, but they got us in immediately. The place is full of a mix of patrons, from American expats to native... More

This is a small, cosy restaurant offering typical Italian food. The menu is varied (though they don't serve pizza) with something for everyone. We ate here twice (three course dinners each time) and were very impressed with the food. The service is fast and friendly but not too in-your-face. They also offer a wide choice in wines, from a very... More

Ate here on our first night in Rome as I had read TripAdvisor reviews and wanted someplace convenient to our hotel as we arrived late. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to clear, but got to look at some of the food being served before we looked at a menu and were happy to wait. We... More

I have eaten here twice and both times has been very nice. The food is of a high standard, even when a group of eight all ordered different dishes. There is pasta, salad and meat options available. The service is always fantastic, the staff are friendly and attentive. It's the kind of place to go with a good group of... More

I ordered the gluten free tonnarelli cacio Pepe (cheese sauce and pepper). The pasta itself was good and the sauce was very rich. I got about halfway through my meal when I found about 5 strands of NON gluten free spaghetti noodles. I could have easily ingested some. I'm allergic to gluten and I'm not celiac so I can deal... I fell in love with the Monti neighborhood of Rome during my last visit. And La Vacca M'briaca was a big part of it. It's unpretentiously delicious, while being hip along the way. It's a big mixture of young Romans as well as travelers. The staff is very friendly as well. Food wise, everything was a home run. We had... More

Ate some beef and rosemary potatoes and liked a lot. Especially the potatoes were outstanding, but the meat was also tasty and well-made. There were four of us and we all left satisfied. It's true that the service wasn't best I have experienced, but I think the food itself is the most important and that was good, very good.
