A lovely evening!

Four words. LOVELY PEOPLE. GREAT FOOD. This was the best meal I have had in Italy. The owners (I think wife and husband) were amazingly nice and friendly. The waitress was also happy and smiley. It was truly a great meal and night THANK YOU SOFIA. MUCH LOVE. MWAH. DONT EVER CHANGE

Fantastic hospitality and delicious food. The scallops and soufflé starters were two of the best dishes me and my partner have had in Italy- definitely recommend!

The food was fantastic, among the best we had in Italy. The service and owner was charming. The atmopshere/interior is very nice. It was recommended to us by an Italian friend who grew up in Rome.

We ate here on our first night in Rome as it was across the street from our b&b. What a delight! The service was perfect and attentive, and the food was amazing. If you are in the Spanish Steps area, this is a great choice!

I read the great reviews on here so wanted to try the place and was a bit disappointed. The food was good and there are some very interesting recipes but it's a bit overpriced. Sit inside for sure as the atmosphere outside is not great since you're in the street and on a hill.

Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was lovely and the service was wonderful. We would love to speak more Italian, but it wasn't necessary as their English is excellent.

We had an early dinner last night, 7pm and we were seated straight away, with no reservation. The prices may seem expensive but this was the best meal we've had in Rome. Everything was cooked perfectly, and was really delicious, especially the pasta Amatriciana. Service was great too. I only wish we were in Rome longer so we could eat... More

I was lucky enough to have a sit without reservation - but you'd better make one in advance, as the room is limited. This restaurant is the one wich worth a visit, even in Rome - with so many great places to eat. This is not a 'traditional' Italian restaurant, with all these checked tablecloth, but a modern restaurant with... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
