Our first, AND BEST, meal in Rome

Went here on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We had a long day of flying from Washington and this resataurant was steps from our hotel. The food was AMAZING. The pasta fresh and perfectly cooked. The wine superb and the service even better. We tried hard to find a better meal in Italy... read more

Everytime we go here, they let you really feel at home. It's white and bright atmosphere. Cute small restaurant, and owners are special. Homemade free cookies before you are leaving. Hoping to come back soon to Irene, Simon and the small Sofia ( the DOG) .

We went here on our final night in Rome after finding it on trip advisor. A lovely modern Italian restaurant with a cosy and up market feel. The Rosemary fachia was a lovely surprise to start, we then had the monk fish and prawn lasagne to share which was incredible!!!!! Coupled with a lovely wine and finished with lovely desserts.... The location is very nice, service good, very friendly people and the food and wine were delicious. A really good restaurant, not easy to find in Rome, not touristy or overprized. The place is kid-friendly as well, what i appreciated a lot. Easy to reach a kittle north of the Fontana di Trevi.

A lovely small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Food is top quality and so is the wine. We spent a couple of fine hours here and definitely will be back.

We had such a delightful time at lunch, we returned at dinner with our Roman Friend. Everything was so very lovely ( including the sweet pup, Sofia) we would say Go, go now! These people care about food in a special way, as if you are in their Home.

We were hosted by a charming lady but the service was done by a unprofessional man rather unfriendly.. Service was slow and the seating uncomfortable. the decor is unatractive. The presence of a dog at the entrance and his basket should'nt be allowed in a restaurant. We were shocked to see a charge on the bill for bread and tap... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on here. We weren't disappointed!!! The restaurant was cozy, staff were helpful and the chef was accommodating and adapted one of the dishes for us. The restaurant was easy to find and once inside you wasn't rushed. Highly recommend

Last night my girlfriend and I went to Sofia. The place is very nice and warm, the owner is so gentle and cute, she made us confortable immediately. I took tagliolini with white alba truffle, such a delicate and particular dish, and my girlfriend an oven baked turbot fillet with lentils, first time she had it and she found out... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
