We visited this wonderfull restaurant and were very pleased. The lovely displayed and perfectly made food tasted delicious and the waitresses were very kind. Inside the restaurant soft Music is playing to give it a Calm atmosphere. The food was prepared quickly and all together Sold for a fair Price.

Great atmosphere and great food, friendly staff! We didn't have a main meal here but went for dessert and coffee twice and both times the desserts were delicious! Service was great, even when we went just before closing time.

we've been waiting to be sitted (although there was a free table for six) and then for another hour for a terrible food. although we ordered a simple dish of pasta it took so much time, and it was very untasty. they did offer to replace the dish.

I don't understand the reviews - both waiters were stood around talking to their friend for an hour. we waited over an hour for our starters with no acknowledgement - scallops were nothing special- then both our Mains were so salty they were inedible. We left 120 euros lighter.

This is a 5 star restaurant, hands down. Delicious food and a great experience. The proprietors are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Some people complained about the cost, but to be fair the quality of the food matches what I would expect to pay, plus match that with the location, I would pay more for the meal.... More

We had just checked into the B&B Domas Spagna and walked across the street to eat at Sofia as we were hungry and tired from traveling. What a fantastic surprise as all of our entrees were excellent. Reasonably priced ( for ROME) and generous portions as well. Its not fancy but its great.

Went on a Friday and walked in without booking. Got a table inside without any fuss. Food was fantastic with some great seafood dishes on the menu as well as plenty meat dishes. Service was friendly and attentive even though they were very busy. We had seared tuna which was delicious and a vegetable torte which was great. 2 courses... More

We'd been walking through Rome and we were tired, as tourists apt to be, when we passed by Sofia Ristorante. The white interior, French music, and simple but elegant decor seemed enticing. We were only planning to have a glass of wine, which we ordered, when the girl suggested some bread? She brought a basket of warm slices dusted with... More

Dined here twice during my visit to Rome in early Sept 2014. It was the nicest restaurant that I experienced whilst in Rome. It is not the type of touristy restaurant (that Rome is full of) that has a (typically) loud, brash and inexperienced waiter/waitress shouting at you from the door asking you to come in and waving a menu... We were staying near the Spanish Steps in June and fell in love with this lovely restaurant. After a day of wandering the streets we decided to choose a small place in the neighborhood. My husband is a chef, so with a quick look at the menu he chose Sofia for our dinner with another couple. We were not disappointed!... More
