We visited this restaurant for lunch and though it seemed quite quiet and we had to wait a while for the food, it was worth it. Unlike many other restaurants the portions were just the right size and the waitress was friendily and even informed us that my daughter was trapped in the toilet. The bread basket was especially nice!

Very dificult to find a good place to eat in piazza di spagna? In fact, the near places have the worst food and service... Believe me, I've tried...But in Sofia's I've found excelent ambience, food and treatment. Don't seat Im the first restaurant you see... Try Sofia!

A lovely place, just a short walk from tourist attractions surrounded by fast food joints, no frozen food here, we absolutely loved it, the food, the wines, Irene's good humor... A placed saved to my favorites for when I come back to Rome.

We had two perfect evenings in this small restaurant. The second time was celebrating a 50 years birthday. Food was excellent and the service was even better. Next time in Rome we will be back.

Ate at Sofia during a Fruili wine tasting dinner and the food pairings with the wine was fantastic. Also we got to meet the winemaker which was nice, bought a bottle on the way out. The setting and atmosphere is nice and the service was good.

A nice little Italian restaurant! We had pork and pistachio patties and pasta, great! With a lovely couple running it, would definitely return.

Very pretty little restaurant near the Spanish Steps, with revolving colorful art on the walls and a cheerful couple at the helm. Good food at reasonable prices (for the area) with helpful and timely service. Last meal was a potato and bacon bake with blue cheese sauce; pasta with duck; monkfish with vegetables; eggplant, ricotta and pine nut bake; and... More

The hostess was gracious and welcoming, the food was terrific, the place was warm and clean. The hostess was more than willing to recommend her signature dish of pasta, tomato, prosciutto, and cheese along with a nice red wine and some warm focaccia. A very nice evening. I'll go back.
