Great food, lovely waitress

A lovely small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Food is top quality and so is the wine. We spent a couple of fine hours here and definitely will be back.

We had such a delightful time at lunch, we returned at dinner with our Roman Friend. Everything was so very lovely ( including the sweet pup, Sofia) we would say Go, go now! These people care about food in a special way, as if you are in their Home.

We were hosted by a charming lady but the service was done by a unprofessional man rather unfriendly.. Service was slow and the seating uncomfortable. the decor is unatractive. The presence of a dog at the entrance and his basket should'nt be allowed in a restaurant. We were shocked to see a charge on the bill for bread and tap... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on here. We weren't disappointed!!! The restaurant was cozy, staff were helpful and the chef was accommodating and adapted one of the dishes for us. The restaurant was easy to find and once inside you wasn't rushed. Highly recommend

Last night my girlfriend and I went to Sofia. The place is very nice and warm, the owner is so gentle and cute, she made us confortable immediately. I took tagliolini with white alba truffle, such a delicate and particular dish, and my girlfriend an oven baked turbot fillet with lentils, first time she had it and she found out... More

is good food, and a great menu with good wines. we tried several dishes recommend the filetto do not recommend lasagnetta, was too dry and seemed reheated portions are gourmet size, and the bill was a bit pricy.

Stumbled across this charming restaurant with a little help from Trip Advisor after a friends recommendation turned out to be closed! Tucked away on a side street not far from the Spanish Steps, we received a friendly welcome during a busy evening service. Overall, the wine and food were fantastic, the best we've had in some time and exactly what... More

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Cozy atmosphere, like eating at a friend's place. The highlight of the meal was the roast chicken stuffed with aubergine and wrapped in pancetta (?). Ordered a good selection of contorni as well, including the roast potatoes (definitely get these if you're ordering any meat), cicoria, broccoli, and some puntarelle. The folks running the... More

small romantic restaurant with really grate and quality food. That was our best dinner in Rome. Staff was really very polite (I read some bad reviews and I really wonder why!). We did not had a reservation but the girl welcome us inside and very politely informed us that we can wait at the sofa fro 5 minutes so they... More

Right downstairs from our apartment. We are still in Rome and eaten there twice for lunch. On Thursday we wanted to have dinner there but it was closed for a private party. The manager sent us to a competitor. Our lunches were fantastic and my wife indicated her gluten free pasta was wonderful. I had the bread which was direct... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
