Very Good Indian food in Rome

What ever we had as veg was good and worth recommending except Biryani. Do not ask for Biryani ask for Jeera Rice or Pulao it's better. The Chicken (meat) was not so good and properly cooked but the curry was tasty. Very close to Roma Termini Station. Service and Ambiance was good. Overall... read more

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and during our 5 days' stay in Rome, we ate here around 4 times (Dinner) including on Christmas day of 2014. The restaurant is around 2 minutes walk from Termini station. The staff were very cordial, and willing to serve with a smile. We generally ate non-vegetarian dishes and found the food... More

The food was amazing. Although the overall price was on the higher side, it was worth the price..Go for it if you are looking for authentic Indian cuisines

A good authentic indian place amongst all the pizza pasta joints, right within walking distance of Termini. The décor is quite garish but the food tastes well. The host was quite sensitive to our specific needs and got the food tailored to the same. All in all, it is a good place to have nice Indian food if you are... More

Another place I would normally give 4 stars but hey, this is seedy Termini and this place is so close to many small hotels, so why not 5 stars. Another good alternative from Italian food. Food: - Although, it is expensive compared to other, you can see the upgrade in quality. Yes, you could get similar Indian food near Termini... More

5 min walk from Roma Termini Station is this amazing Indian Restaurant. Via Milazzo is surprisingly not known by locals so make sure you ask any taxi driver for guidelines. Food was supremely tasty and it felt as if we are dining in India. Funnily after being a week or so in Italy, this experience was much needed :)

Since it was so close to our accommodation and we were really craving for Indian food towards the fag end of our trip we ended up eating there 2 meals in a row, however the food was very average and slightly overpriced. Excellent service and good spacious interiors though redeeming factors.

and I have eaten a lot of Indian food in a lot of counties. The naan bread was not naan but more like flat soda bread. The papadum tasted like it was made a week previous. We pretty much always order a palak paneer, as it it one of our favorites. It came out smelling like it was shoveled out... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
