We stopped at this gelateria while in Rome because my wife remembered seeing it on Tripadvisor. Since it had some good reviews our expectations were high. Unfortunately this gelateria did not live up to our expectations. The ice cream was lacking in flavor and had freezer burn indicating it had been in the freezer for some time. The lady who... More

Why a Spaniard writes a review in English ...? Well, but you should know that we do the new ice cream every day, and our staff is well known for his kindness and attention to customers ... Or maybe you know this already .. More

Had gelato in Venice, then Florence, then Siena and now Rome. La Dolce Vita was the best of the best! Knowledgeable owner described not only the taste of each gelato, but also the region where the ingredients originated. Magnifico!

After ten days in Italy, we stumbled across La Dolce Vita across from our hotel in Rome. It was without a doubt, the best gelato we had while in Italy. Since it was so convenient, we went back every night. The strawberry and peach were my favourite and all the fruity gelato is made with real fruit everyday. Mario and... More

Sorry to say but we tased 6 flavours and most of them were very artificial, not like real fruit at all. You can avoid it.

You are an expert reviewer? Well, you should know that we are a certified ice-cream that uses only fresh fruit in season. You've got the wrong room, or you wrote a big lie. More

Ice-creams here are very yummy and not very expensive, service is really nice. Also very close to the coloseum, great place.

We found this Gelateria following a visit to the colosseum...we looked on trip advisor and decided on this place. The ice cream we had was soooo good...the best we have ever had. There was a large choice...I had after eight and strawberry and my husband had pistachio and rum coconut. You could tell it was made with passion...absolutely beautiful ice... More

Next to the Vespa museum and shop, the gelato here is fantastic and there's complimentary wifi, one of the best gelatos I've had in Italy!

There is a major difference between gelato and ice cream. If you go into this establishment looking for traditional Americanized ice cream, you may find yourself disappointed. However, if you go into this establishment looking for the best and most refreshing gelato in Rome, you will find precisely what you are looking for. The gentleman that owns and runs this... More

Tasty but not the best one... I liked what we took but I thing that the ice cream could be even better. The greatest flavours were Melon and Red Fruits.
