Good gelato, tourist friendly

So you're at The Pantheon, major tourist attraction. Tourist attraction equals expensive average gelato right ? Wrong. I know it can be pretty hard to believe that good gelato can be found here but it's a fact. They only loose out to Gelateria Corona near the cat sanctuary in terms of the... read more

So you're at The Pantheon, major tourist attraction. Tourist attraction equals expensive average gelato right ? Wrong. I know it can be pretty hard to believe that good gelato can be found here but it's a fact. They only loose out to Gelateria Corona near the cat sanctuary in terms of the delicately aromatic cone wafer. Get yourself in there... More

Don't be fooled: even though it's right in a very touristic place, beside the Panteon, it's the best ice cream I've taasted in Italy, and I have been in Rome several times. The chocolate mousse, strawberry and kiwi flavours are amazing, but the tiramisu mousse is AMAZING!

It's always nice to have a good gelato while on vacation in Italy. Generous portions and friendly staff.

When we got there, it was closed even though it was not very late. I don’t know what time they close, I didn’t see any information on the door. We went back next day because it was close to our hotel and I wanted to check it out, due to good reviews on TripAdvisor. The gelato was good, but I... More

Stopped by this place and picked up chocolate mousse gelato in a cup for €3... It was tasty, not too soft so it didn't make a mess everywhere. I liked it though still think I have a preference for Oldbridge. Still really good though.

The gelato is good and the flavours are a good range. The location is rejected in the cost when you compare it to somewhere as good as palazzo del freddo; although it is still cheaper and better quality than your grom or giolittis. Well worth a try.

So far, we have tried five gelaterias in Rome with very mixed results. The Cremeria Monteforte has been the best so far by a considerable margin, offering very creamy ice cream with an intense flavor. Note that while this cremeria is quite centrally located next to one of the sides of the Pantheon, it's a bit difficult to find since... More

So far the best ice cream bar in Rome. There were way more than 10 sorts available for normal ice cream. Big plus: usually there are only one or two sort of sorbets; here were several sorts. Homemade ice cream tasted very good, especially dark chocolate. There were very many size of cones and cups (up to 7 €). The... More

After visiting the Pantheon on a sweltering hot day, we planned to come here after seeing high reviews on Tripadvisor. One of the best things was that they had rose gelato! Our entire family is crazy about rose, but it is very difficult to find it where we are from. The actual gelato was creamy and bursting with flavor. It... More

We actually came into Cremeria because we saw a queue of Taxi drivers stop and go in, we figured if this is the gelateria of their choice it most be good, and so it was! It is simple with basic flavors but they are all delicious (we kept coming for more during our vacation) The best thing is the Panna... More
