Without doubt, this is one of the best (arguably the best) meal I have ever had. We had the tasting menu and all 9 courses were incredible. The restaurant is tiny - only 6 tables - and we were lucky enough to get one by phoning on the day. Their famous carbonara was incredible, as were the duck and the... More

You should only eat here if you have two hours to really enjoy and appreciate a beautiful dining experience and if you want to spend 200 - 260 euros for a dinner, with wine, for two. Our dinner was an artistic performance of beautiful plates with unexpected and delicious tastes, and portions that filled us both up. We had at... More

booked this having seen a review in Sunday Times Travel - and it was a great experience. The restaurant is attached to the Rex Hotel and is pretty formal - the food is quite complex but beautifully prepared and presented and well balanced - service excellent - overall a great success and recommended

I was very sad to review the last review and genuinely hope that there could have been some mix up, as I've just returned from 10 days holiday in Italy and this restaurant was the finest of some amazing restaurants we had the good fortune to visit. Alex was incredibly welcoming and he talked us through our tastes/dietary requirements and... More

All though the food was decent and the atmosphere warm and friendly, owner Alessandro has much to be desired when it comes to ETHICAL INTEGRITY! We were there with a group of 6 people and ordered three bottles of wine. Two that owner Alessandro recommended and a 2004 Bruno Giacosa Falletto Riserva (YES Riserva), for an unbelievable price of 150... More

We had an amazing meal here last August, and we organised a stopover in Rome last week for the sole purpose of returning to Pipero's Restaurant. I often find second visits to restaurants can be disappointing, this was most definitely not a disappointment. It's clearly gained a reputation for itself, it was much busier this year, but the food was... More

On suggestion from an US reviewer living and eating in Rome we got a reservation and had a wonderful 10 course meal at Pipero. Dinner reservations are difficult, but lunch is sometimes more available. We were happy that we were able to have a meal in Rome that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Attention to details,... More

One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. Perfect food and excellent service. Even though the place seems very upmarket and posh, the owner was very friendly and personable. Although the carbonara was fantastic, what really stole the show for us was the immaculately prepared piece of lamb. It was cooked to perfection, very... More
