We went to Pipero restaurant driven by Trip Advisor comments. All in all it was a good experience. The appetizers, the potato cream , the pasta dishes, the meats (both lamb and pork), the desserts, all of them, superb. Only the pumpkin ravioli, unexpectedly cold, were dissapointing. Everything plus a Tocana wine bottle, came at 95 € each, which is... More

As we were staying at the Hotel Rex and read good reviews of the restaurant, we decided to treat ourselves and go on my birthday. We've also never tried a restaurant with a Michelin star rating and wanted to know what the experience would be like. Our reservations were at 7:30pm on a Monday and there were was only 1... More

Since my last visit things have improved quite a bit. The food is in a class of its own, the service is first class and Alessandro Pipero is a fantastic guy. I especially liked the duck tartare, the caviare pasta and the lamb. The wine list is impressive and consistent. Absolute top.

We picked this restaurant based on its Michelin 1-star status. Food was good - we both ordered the tasting menu without wine which consisted of a perfectly cooked mackerel, haddock soup with soft boiled egg and hazelnuts, 2 pasta dishes, lamb entree and dessert. We loved all of them. 2 pasta dishes in a row came as a bit of... More

Really great food, especially carbonara. we had a tasting menu, make sure to be really hungry. I will repeat, DO NOT EAT ANYTHING ELSE THAT DAY :) Price for a tasting menu of 100 EUR is fair, however the matching wine was a bit over priced (as proposed by a very helpful staff) so we sticked with a bootle of... Fantastic pace of delivery, rapid at first then slower. Some excellent signature dishes - the tea - poached egg, the duck tartare sandwich and the carbonara. And with a delightful bottle of Brunello the nicest surprise was the bill. This should be two stars not one. On a par with Sat Bains and L'enclume.

So many interesting foods! Raw duck, chicken liver mousse, an amazing dessert. Very small restaurant within Hotel Rex, but the quality is exceptional.

Wonderful meal full of surprising flavors and textures. The atmosphere was secluded and felt very relaxed for the quality of the meal. Every bite was a treat, and you were encouraged to eat with your hands! Our dinner was a reunion of family members celebrating many things, and we were delighted with the food and service. Highly recommended.
