I was very sad to review the last review and genuinely hope that there could have been some mix up, as I've just returned from 10 days holiday in Italy and this restaurant was the finest of some amazing restaurants we had the good fortune to visit. Alex was incredibly welcoming and he talked us through our tastes/dietary requirements and... More

All though the food was decent and the atmosphere warm and friendly, owner Alessandro has much to be desired when it comes to ETHICAL INTEGRITY! We were there with a group of 6 people and ordered three bottles of wine. Two that owner Alessandro recommended and a 2004 Bruno Giacosa Falletto Riserva (YES Riserva), for an unbelievable price of 150... More

We had an amazing meal here last August, and we organised a stopover in Rome last week for the sole purpose of returning to Pipero's Restaurant. I often find second visits to restaurants can be disappointing, this was most definitely not a disappointment. It's clearly gained a reputation for itself, it was much busier this year, but the food was... More

On suggestion from an US reviewer living and eating in Rome we got a reservation and had a wonderful 10 course meal at Pipero. Dinner reservations are difficult, but lunch is sometimes more available. We were happy that we were able to have a meal in Rome that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Attention to details,... More

One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. Perfect food and excellent service. Even though the place seems very upmarket and posh, the owner was very friendly and personable. Although the carbonara was fantastic, what really stole the show for us was the immaculately prepared piece of lamb. It was cooked to perfection, very... More

Elegant restaurant with amazing food. I think they will be a two Michelin star in no time. We went with the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was delicious. The duck tartare, carbonara, and tea-poached egg were our favorites. Very romantic and highly recommended!

I had one night in Roma and chose to eat here. I was welcomed with open arms, and had an amazing experience. Alex (Pipero) looked after me incredibly well, and this evening was one of the best in my travels around Italy! I had a Negroni to start, and the excellence of this drink was a sign of things to... My husband and I went to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is in a hotel and is only small but beautifully done. My husband ordered from the al a carte menu and I ordered the tasting menu. As a vegetarian I was asked what I could eat and how many courses I wanted in my tasting menu... More

Everyone in our party agreed that this was one of the best meals ever. Period. Service was incredible; not pretentious, actually humorous at the right times. Stop reading this review and go make reservations.

Creatively prepared and tasty food. The duck tartare tender and juicy, The combination of noodles, green sauce, sausage filling and broccoli leaves - incredibly balanced in taste. The "egg/mushroom/nut" mousse resembled the creations of a three michelin star chef in Roanne, France. Last, but not least: the piece of meat sizzling inside when on the plate and so juicy, that...
