The chef consistently checked on us throughout the meal, the food was wonderful, and the wine pairing just made it even better. This was undoubtedly one of the best dinners we had and definitely felt the most personal. I highly recommend eating here if you want upscale dining in Rome.

My fiancée spoiled me for my birthday and took me here last week and we had an amazing dining experience. As a chef, I am generally a bit wary of degustation menus, as they tend to have some stand out dishes, whilst others disappoint, yet this one managed to impress every step of the way. We left our drinks choices... More

This restaurant is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! We dined here to celebrate my Birthday in August 2014. The food was first class, we both chose the tasting menu which was individually tailored to each of us, how refreshing, a restaurant that knows what a customer is! The owner is charming, his team are professional and attentive. The food is utterly fabulous, and... More

Without doubt, this is one of the best (arguably the best) meal I have ever had. We had the tasting menu and all 9 courses were incredible. The restaurant is tiny - only 6 tables - and we were lucky enough to get one by phoning on the day. Their famous carbonara was incredible, as were the duck and the... More

You should only eat here if you have two hours to really enjoy and appreciate a beautiful dining experience and if you want to spend 200 - 260 euros for a dinner, with wine, for two. Our dinner was an artistic performance of beautiful plates with unexpected and delicious tastes, and portions that filled us both up. We had at... More

booked this having seen a review in Sunday Times Travel - and it was a great experience. The restaurant is attached to the Rex Hotel and is pretty formal - the food is quite complex but beautifully prepared and presented and well balanced - service excellent - overall a great success and recommended

I was very sad to review the last review and genuinely hope that there could have been some mix up, as I've just returned from 10 days holiday in Italy and this restaurant was the finest of some amazing restaurants we had the good fortune to visit. Alex was incredibly welcoming and he talked us through our tastes/dietary requirements and... More
