Same menu and pricing as other small restaurants in the area.....but thats is where the similarities end. Great friendly service by the all female staff of waiters!! At other restaurants in the areas..... We were overcharged...charged twice.....had tips added in addition to the tip service charge by grumpy male waiters!!! La Botte had great pizza and all the standard Italian... More

Cute atmosphere. Mediocre food, stale bread, had to ask for olive and vinegar then plates to eat the bread. Green salad was just lettuce - nothing else. Oslo buco was at best, tough, Creme brûlée was the worst we've ever glad and they would not take it off the bill. Our waitress was nice but the other people working there... More

Had one evening meal here which I would classify as a 'very good' experience, so had I just done that one trip, it would have a 'Four dot rating' here. However, our 'good' evening experience prompted us to try it for lunch one day and that experience wasn't so great! Hence the 'mixed' review. Our evening visit consisted of a... More

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this comfortable restaurant with good food and charming service on Via Sistina near the Spanish Steps and Piazza Barberini. We were given a secluded table near the back of the bustling restaurant, had excellent Artichoke and Eggplant appetizers, large portions of chicken and pasta main courses, wine, bread, water, cappucino all for 60... We ate here our last night in Rome and it was very good. We arrived at around 9:30 and were greeted hospitably and shown to a table. We had a very charming waitress who spoke English (but I am practicing my Italian so we spoke in Italian). Our first table was a bit out in the middle of everything as... More

Situated 100 m up via Sistina from the Tritone fountain, La Botte provided an excellent meal in comfortable surroundings and with pleasant staff. It was busy, which was a good sign. The waiters coped admirably and the food was excellent. Well worth putting on your list of places to eat in Rome.

I had dinner here with a group of friends and work colleagues. The atmosphere is typical Italian trattoria - not special and classy, but not like an awful cafeteria. The manager, Luca is great and very helpful. We had asked for a particular table, and when we got there realised it was right under the heater and we all started... More

I went to have a lunch, I ordered a pasta amatriciana bucatini( i prefer spaghetti instead of bucatini), it was good not excellent, the price is moderate and the bread costs too much( do not order) or ask it for free. In resumen I recommend the restaurant but it's not cheap as it looks...
