Handy for lunch when visiting the Colosseum

We had lunch here during a visit to the area around the Colosseum. The service was good and the atmosphere lively. I had the hard (quite soft) boiled egg with porcini mushrooms in a cheese sauce. This was very nice and with bread constituted a good light lunch. I sampled my wife's vegetable... read more

I am travelling alone in Rome and came here for an Aperitivo. I had a delicious drink of which Incan't remember the correct name :-(. Negroni something it was. Anyway I loved it. The atmosphere is great and the staff very friendly. Go see for yourself :-)

Liked the look of this place, which was a little more thoughtfully designed than other places in Rome. The food was good but uneven. The pasta was al dente to the point where we wondered if it might actually be a tad under done? Service fine as well. Had that, who do we find when we want to leave experience... More

The food is nice, quite expensive though, the staff were so rude, snatching the menus and not making any eye contact, tutted when we asked for more drinks. Not impressed.

We hadn't booked a table but fitted us in, but the staff were decidedly unfriendly. The food was ok but we were not made to feel welcome.

Good coffee, tea & cake. Friendly service, with a waitress happy to teach us Italian! . Prices average. Nice atmosphere. Good mix of locals and tourists.

Very bad service. Non attentive, sloppy service, 'not that too bad' food. Even so, proper tip was given by us to the absent pretty Asian waitress. If some of the effort was given to service and flavor rather than the decor and ambiance, then it should at least be an alright restaurant.

We thought the setting was nice, the food was ok, but not amazing, and the service was very average. Overall, it was a bit ruined by the service, especially when we pointed out they overcharged us for something, and got very dismissive attitude, and took quite a push to get the overcharging removed.

We were in need of a place to eat after our tour of the Colleseum. After walking the neighborhood, this place looked the most inviting. We ordered the day specials. Our waitresses Maria and Valentina were great and made us feel welcomed. The food was excellent in both taste and presentation. With wine, salad and cafee correcto, the bill was... More

We were only in Rome for one night and staying at a B&B not too far from the Colloseum. In the evening we were looking for a bar to have a nice aperitivo and accidentally came across Propaganda, very close to the Colloseum but yet still well hidden. The bar seemed very nice from the outside so we decided to... More
