Cool place with really good food

I came here several times for dinner and once for lunch (late lunch... at 4 pm). Food is really good: my favourite are the trio of artichokes - amazing!, moscardini and carbonara, but anything else I tried was good. The setting is really cool, decorated with taste. Minus: on the weekend it gets... read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by the Italian who rented the appartment we are staying in nearby. To be fair, the decor is really nice and the food was also very good. However, the service was among the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. The waitresses never smiled, never asked if we were happy and basically threw everything we... More

Our fabulous guide recommended this lovely spot for lunch. Its beautiful and well attended by locals and happy staff. We ordered the clam pasta, salted cod, 3 way artichokes and sardines. The local white wine was magnificent, a perfect way to end a wonderful morning at the old forum.

Although located only a short distance from one of the most popular tourist attractions in Rome, this establishment has style, charm and ambiance. The bartenders are skilled mixologists and like to show it. The interior is well done and relaxing, while the drinks are refreshing. A great place to unwind before dinner, although many come here just for dinner. Next... More

Great service. Good food, not only the standard foot items you expect. We have had tuna carpaccio and tuna with soy sauce and wasabi, so not really Italian, but very tasty. Would definitely recommend it.

Judging from the Michelin awards on the door, we thought we might be in for a treat after some pretty disappointing food experiences in Rome. (Whatever happened to Italian cooking? Did it all emigrate?) The place is nice and we were quickly seated with menus. The wait person had little English (fair enough, I have little Italian, but in a... More

We dropped in without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. We wide red and then waited. And waited. After about an hour we checked whether the order might have got lost (several other tables who came in after us ate and left) and food appeared shortly after. The food was ok- the Angus kebab was just a kebab. For the... More

We came here for lunch on a Saturday on the advice of our guide and were generally pleased. The food is quite tasty--great appetizers (field green salad, an excellent soft-boiled egg opener, a good anchovy toast). The pastas were fresh and nicely done. However, the service was very inconsistent. Had to ask three times for a glass of orange juice... More

Caffe Propaganda was a terrific restaurant with very kind and considerate service unlike other places that have very snooty service in Rome. The food was very good, very classical Roman cuisine and the Restaurant was spacious, open and very clean, including the restrooms. We were recommended to Caffe Propaganda by a friend and we were very pleased. The food and... More

We met a friend here for dinner during. It is very conveniently located, close to the Colosseum. We started with the Buffalo Mozzarella which was excellent and a caesar's salad. We each ordered pasta for main dishes. I had Grandma's fettuccini, which was ok. My daughter enjoyed a pasta with tomato sauce and bacon (Amaratriana, I think), which was delicious.... More
