Best Meal Ever!!

Found this place through Tripadvisor and I'm so glad I did. The food here is amazing and so fresh as the menu changes everyday and is written on the wall. A charming restaurant tugged away in a side street. Clients were all local Italians. The 5- course tasting menu with wine pairing seemed popular in our group. Each portion was rather large on its own; in particular, the spaghetti dish could be been halved or even smaller. The wine paring was done well with a sparking wine to start, 3... More

We came here with a group of four on restaurant night and were all pleasantly surprised. We got an incredibly good deal since it was restaurant night and paid a lot less than one would usually paid for this kind of food. You clearly notice the passion for food that the team has, they offer different creations with a distinctive... More

So here I am by myself in Rome for two days. Seems like most high rated places around are really cheap pizza joints. Based upon reviews, I shortlist a couple of places that actually look like real restaurants rather than tourist traps. First place on my list is full when I get there, around 8:30. No. 2 on my list... More

restaurant has a very interesting and different menu, great wine selection, very good service, delicious food but if you are hungry tourists (like us :)) this is not the best choice because the portions are too small. After a day of sightseeing we need something more abundantly on the plate :)

A nice switch from most of the Italian restaurants we have experienced while travelling here. The chef takes a great deal of pride in his sections, and is not afraid to experiment, which can be both good and detrimental. Our waitress let us know that he typically changes the menu every couple of days, which is certainly ambitious. My wife... More

Ok, sorry about the title, but I couldn't resist it. On our last evening in Rome (a Monday) we had booked a place here. It wasn't necessary as Monday evenings are quiet and the restaurant is a bit hidden on a side-street., though not far from the Cavour Metro. At first we were alone and uncertain as to whether this... It is really a gem in Roma, not easy to fing as it is in a very small stair street. they got 2 menus of the day, one for lunch and an other for Dinner. We try it for lunch, crowed with italian office peoples from the burrough. The young chef do a mixt between creative cooking and local italian... More

I have to believe this place is most often only visited by locals, or tourists who are lucky enough to know about it. It's not well advertised, from what I recall, and it's off the beaten path (even in the middle of the city). My daughters and I had spent another great day exploring this amazing city, and as is...
