Cozy pub with great sports tv

We found this Irish pub not far from our hotel near the main Rome train station. It is a cozy place with a good range of drinks and plenty of sports tv screens including a big one. We were there for the Rugby World Cup final and it was packed but still comfortable.

Doesn't look much from the outside but what a great little Irish pub, friendly staff - some Irish, good beer and loads of entertainment with a small stage at the back of the place. A nice change from wine and coffee!!! :)

I go to this spot every time I'm in Rome (about twice a year). I am never disappointed with the crowd, music or (and the best part) is beer. The moment I sit down I'm thinking "finally! A proper pint of real (non-Italian) beer!!

We had visited Fiddlers on previous trips to Rome but stopped in more often this year and were so glad we did. Really friendly staff and locals, we had a great laugh and plenty of drinks. The choice available is excellent and location was perfect for our hotel. Top marks, we will most definitely be back.

Nice place to watch rugby on a big screen. The people at the bar are verry nice and the beer is good. Bit old fashioned but thats what I like. If you come here tell Irish bartender Colm the Dutch guy wearing an Itallian rugby shirt says hello!

This is the most original pub in Rome possibly the first pub in Rome, it's a true Irish pub, great friendly staff, prices great and selection of beer the best, it's a nice cosy pub with a nice clientele, a great place to relax, it's off the beaten track which makes it special, a little gem, it's spotless clean, toilets... Fun and welcoming place. Good music, beer and booze. Felt like a neighborhood bar. Definitely stop by.

In our experience Rome was pretty poor on the nightlife side other than a small number of places that were a little livelier. This, unfortunately, was not one of them. That being said, it's not a knock on the place itself- the service was quick and the beer was fine. Could've just been an off day.

Looking for somewhere to watch the Malmo v Celtic game & Colm couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Even managed to get the commentary in English. Thanks again Colm.

No 80's music. Everybody was just wearing normal clothes. No disco lights. My virgin appletini spritzer was poorly made. The bartender Sean was well cute though.
