Pleasantly surprised

Went to the Vatican tour and was looking for somewhere to eat after. The first place we found was busy but service was poor. Luckily we just ordered drinks so we looked On trip advisor and found this restaurant. I am so glad we came here as every thing was amazing!

My wife tried roman style pasta with cheese and blackpepper. it was ok.I pick steak (angus). Go and order medium angus, you will never regret. As a red meat lover; I have put this meat top 10 on my list.

We spent the last evening in Rome and decided to give that restaurant a go as it was close by our accommodation. We arrived quite early for dinner (around 6.30 pm) and got a table for 2. If you plan to go later (around 8.00 pm) I recommend to do a reservation as the place was fully booked at that... More

Mama Bistrot is a perfect place for lunch and dinner. The staff is very services minded and goes out of their way to make you happy. Both their meat and fish dishes are great and they always have a couple specialties for the day. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had mussels as starter and seafood pasta as main course. Both were very fresh and the taste was excellent!!! Very nice atmosphere and not very touristy!! I had a very good experience at this restaurant!!

This is a cozy restaurant serving fushion Italian food. For the first course, we had a traditional Roman pasta which you can choose how to cook it and a spinach pasta, both of them were so delicious! Also, the main course pistachio salmon was very unique! We had the tiramisu for to go cause we were in a hurry. It... More

TOTALLY AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! After reading TA reviews, decided we should try it... We were there right after 1900 and were able to get a table. There were no less than 5 families that were turned away during our dining. We just made it. Fabio was an absolute dream as a server and was patient with us. He took... More

Ate here a couple of times during our recent visit to Rome. Greeted by a nice group of staff, and felt well looked after. Food was excellent, catering to the simpler tastes of my son, and the hopefully more sophisticated tastes of the rest of us. A really good selection of standard Roman pasta/sauce dishes, and some more complex dishes.... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
