Great Italian Cuisine!

Appetizers are delicious, recommend trying the eggplant potato patties and lemon and mint shrimp salad. Gnocchi pasta was to die for!

This little place is a real gem! After staying in Rome for a week, we've tried several other places, but we keep coming back here because it is simply better than all the others. The quality of the food is superb, the choices are creative and delicious, and you don't go into shock when the bill arrives. Hard to beat... More

Food is perfect and the staff is really kind and helpful! It's worth booking the table in advance as it is a very popular restaurant. Try the tiramisu and the typical Italian chocolate cake, both are amazing!

Found the place by coincidence and were pleasantly surprised. The wine was excellent, the pasta fresh and delicious, salad with mango prepared creatively and the salmon breaded in pistachio crumbs was beyond words. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

We went here, my boyfriend and I, for dinner tonight.. The place was empty and to begin with, we were the only customers.. Maybe we were to early? What so ever, the food was amazing, the service was in top and I would really recommend everybody to try out there food! Their tuna tartar was great! The days special! Go... More

Just happened upon it and totally a gem!! Food stunning and service great until got busy then everything did slow down. But when on holiday, what's the rush. Definitely take the time, enjoy great wine and food. Less than 10min walk from the Vatican perfect after a busy morning of touring!

We arrived with several tables free but bizarrely were shown to a table on its own at the back of the restaurant that was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. The tables didn't appear to be reserved. I didn't mind but my Mrs was a bit annoyed. However, we were hungry so we stayed. Service was average, food... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our weekend in Rome. The staff was quick and very service minded. The also spoke fluent English. The food was good, and at a very reasonably cost.

After a lovely tour of Vatican city, we wandered around Rome looking for a spontaneous lunch. Mama's advertises it's TripAdvisor status heavily, and probably gets most of it's business that way. Even though there were several open tables of 4 (2 small tables pushed together) they sat the two of us right in front of the door on a cold... More

Great place for dinner. Very reasonable. Unbelievable pasta. Friendly atmosphere. I would improve on the hostess who just told us where she was but the food was awesome. We had the linguine with seafood to seafood with extremely fresh my wife had handmade pasta. Was awesome some of the best pasta we've ever had. Not far away from any place... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
