Good food, nice ambiance and service

What I always like about travelling is going to restaurants that are under the radar. This one is great because you can see that the locals all go. The food was great and so was the service!

While the food was fine (the spinach particularly), it was difficult to make ourselves understood from a very busy and not very nice waiter. In the end what we got in our plates was not really what we expected. It should also be mentioned that you shouldn't go there walking : the restaurant is located in front of a large... More

I ate here two nights ago as it was within walking distance from the Hotel Pulitzer. The menu is Italian food - pasta, pizza, meat dishes, salads etc. (and desserts as far as I remember) I was seated promptly as the restaurant had just opened and offered a menu. There were two sections to choose from outside with no real... More

Might be the worst service I've ever had; food was ok; ambience good. We were invisible for at least ten minutes. They finally sat us but didn't give us menus so we had to go grab our own. 10 more minutes and nothing. I had to ask if we could order drinks. The waiter acted like I was bugging him.... More

Stuffed fried olives seem to be a thing in this area. Theirs are fine. Prompt friendly service, worrisome menu in English but most customers local , or at least Italian. Decent food, modest prices. No complaints.

Went there just because it was close to our hotel. But it was a very pleasant surprise. From the road it looks like nothing, but inside it's very pleasant. The waiters are dressed like munks. The food is amazingly good.

In December 2014 I went to this restaurant with my colleagues for a business lunch and we found a nice traditional environment and good both meat and fish based dishes. Not too expensive and good to spend a lunch in relax.

We actually enjoyed this restaurant very much. It is not in the center of Rome and is located in the EUR district of Rome so you will need to drive to this area from the center. Yes, the reviews are quite correct in saying that the service is pretty bad. They definitely do need to work on that but doubt... More
