After 5 hours of viewing the museums, we were glad to rest our feet at Fa-bio while we enjoyed freshly made juices and sandwiches. One was on gluten free bread but both were tasty! The price was also very fair. They also offer salads and hot soups (which we were unfortunately too late to try). They are a few minutes... More

Getting out from Vatican we fell on this place. This is paradise for healthy food: sandwich on demand with organic and healty products. We also ordered fresh fruit drinks. Some host people were speaking French that helps us to select among the different product.

Spotted this little eatery on the way to the Vatican and watched the staff prepare the sandwiches and wraps as they were ordered. We had been warned about overpricing in the vicinity of the Vatican so on our way back, we checked it out again. Prices were exceptionally reasonable. The staff were very helpful and explained the different breads and... More

We arrived before this restaurant opened, but they kindly motioned us to come inside. They said they would not open until 11:00 a.m., but we were free to look around. We said we would be back. When we returned, they kindly explained everything to us. They did not have any gluten-free bread, but since I had picked up some at... More

We stopped off at Fa-bio for a quick lunch after schlepping about the Vatican museums all morning. The sandwiches were delicious - tasty fillings including a load of options for veggies and vegans (I had seitan with a tofu pate and salad and it was delicious) as well as meat and fish options. You get a choice of bread and... More

I found this place when I was scouring the web for tips for you two-week stay in Rome. We love stuffed panini and sandwiches, but I wanted something specially for my vegan tastes. Fa-Bio was happily located very close to our apartment. We were looking for picnic stuff for our long walk in the Caffarella Valley. The guys at Fa-Bio... More

Love this place. The only place I found with a big amount of different fresh juice. Super tasty food. Visit it even if you are not vegetarian.

I can't say enough good things about this place. After weeks of Italian food I was craving something fresh and came here after reading tripadvisor reviews- it did not disappoint! The owner is so friendly and speaks great English. He made me the most amazing salad with so many fresh veggies that was the perfect portion size. They also sell... More

On our way from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter's we stopped and had lunch at Fa-bio. We had a made to order sandwich: an olive baguette, soft cheese, tomatoes, arugula, avocado, and prosciutto. We also had one of their juices, which was delicious! This place is tiny, so either grab a tall stool and knock knees with people ordering,... More

Grabbed breakfast here one morning and took it back to our hotel to eat (was across the road from the hotel we stayed at). The staff were hugely friendly - wrote down some attractions they thought we'd like off the beaten track and also gave us advice on which days were best to visit the Vatican. We both ordered breakfast... More
