Food freshly prepared by the owner. It's very small but very busy, very fresh and very tasteful. We had a very nice salad and sandwich. Thanks!

Great organic and healthy food and juices. The staff is SUPER friendly and is multilingual which is very helpful so close to the Vatican. I've stopped there three times in the past week or so and each time had something different. You should definitely ask for a staff recommendation based on your tastes, they're superb.

Stumbled across Fa-bio after visiting the Vatican museum, staff were incredibly helpful & the food was fantastic - loved the sandwich so much we had to buy another to take out! Fresh, organic ingredients!

We stopped here for a quick, take-away lunch before a Vatican museum tour. Note- they opened at 11am even though their website said 10:30am. My mom and I both ordered sandwiches. He cut up the ingredients and shaved the meats as he made the sandwiches. So fresh and all organic. The best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life.... More

Visited for lunch after seeing the Vatican. We didn't have a clue what we wanted and the guy serving was brilliant, recommending two different sandwiches. Really flavoursome and packed out (no scrimping on fillings here!) Quite well priced too for the centre of Rome, as it is a 5 minute walk from the Vatican.

So it was a hot day and we really wanted some salad to atone for a recent gluten / gelato binge. Fabio's was perfect!! Five euros for a big bowl of fresh summer veg and whatever else you pick from the counter; I had tuna, mozzarella, capers, olives and a lot of oil. Two and a half euros more and... More

Fantastic! It was such a delight to find super healthy food in Rome. After carb-on-carb overload, Fa-bio offered a reasonably priced welcome reprieve. My husband and I each ordered a freshly made veggie & fruit juice, along with two scrumptious salads. The menu is in Italian and while I can usually get by, a lovely gentleman working there helped translate... More

This small little shop is a fantastic place to get smoothies, sandwiches and salads all made to order with fresh ingredients. If you are tired of all the pasta and pizza grab some food here and enjoy. It is yummy too. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon this restaurant when I was looking for a healthy and affordable place to have lunch after my morning at my internship at the Vatican. The Vatican is FULL of tourist traps, so it wasn't easy to find a place like FaBio, but once I did...I was SOLD. The interns and I went once and we FELL IN... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
