Read some TA reviews before we travelled to Rome and found the Cucina on our second evening. We had a very enjoyable evening meal with delicious fresh pasta and fish. Also by Rome standards this Cucina represents excellent value. Our Hotel ( dei Mellini ) had made a few restaurant recommendations but they were all very pricey so we avoided... More

I read the reviews and was delighted to find this restaurant only a couple of blocks from my hotel. I was lucky enough to get a table for one. The downstairs is very small so if you want to sit in the main part of the restaurant make sure to make a reservation. My waiter Jason was English and we... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local, Roman friend for typical Roman food that was delicious. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was fantastic and the whole experience was wonderful. The pasta cacio e pepe was fresh and the best I had in 2 weeks in Rome. Also that day was a special with fresh made artichoke... More

My partner and I cannot express in words how impressed and happy we were about our meal here at this family-owned restaurant. The owner, Daniel is humble and delivered A+ Exceptional Service. In fact, it is the best service we have EVER received at a restaurant. And we are not exaggerating. We were so happy with the food that we... More

If a visit to Rome does not include a trip to this restaurant then your are truly missing out. It was so delicious, highly recommended!!! My partner and I went hunting for this place on a Sunday, but found it be closed, so something worth bearing in mind. So, after reading so many good reviews about this place we were... More

Wow! The lasagna here was outstanding. It was tender and delicate and perfectly cheesy. The ravioli was excellent as well. We finished with espresso and a tiramisu. Both were exactly what we hoped for.

This is a good place for Roman home cooking. Everything was good, with classic recipes and nice homemade pastas. Service was simply wonderful. Stop in for some comfort food served by pros.

A small place, a real friendly smile on faces and incredible good food. If you want to taste the real roman cuisine, just go there. We had grilled calamari (perfect), carcioffo alla romana (delicious), pasta caccio e pepe (eccelentissimo). Don’t hesitate go there!!!! Signore, grazie mille per la vostra gentillezza e la qualità del cibo. Tutto era perfetto

Great family-run restaurant. My fiance and I ordered recommendations from our server and they turned out to be great. One of the better meals we had in Rome. Great overall experience too in dealing with the family too. I highly recommend.
