This was my second visit in the past two years and was just as pleased with my meal as I was the first time. This is a small family owned restaurant on Via Tacito in the Prati neighborhood, a short walk to the Vatican and in the shadows of the Castel Sant'Angelo. In addition to their menu of traditional Roman... More

We had a fantastic time here. The service was kind and friendly, and the food was out of this world. The icing on the cake, though, was the tiramisu. Oh gosh! Every bite into the pastry was like a delicious shot of sweet espresso! And the owner was so kind and lovely. It is small and warm and welcoming, and... More

Amazing traditionally run family styled cucina. Family owned business stemming off years of tradition. The waitresses and service staff live and breathe the restaurant as there life! Always treated like Ive walked into Nonna's house and the food is beyond unbelievable. We have sent family from Australia here, we've flown for the weekend here just to dine here again! Fresh... My parents and I found this restaurant while we were searching for a place to eat around our hotel. From the moment we came in to the moment we left, all of us recieved excellent treatment. We are brazilians but the different languages weren´t a problem since the family which works in this restaurant were very kind trying to make... More

Went here for dinner with my parents for our last night in Rome after shopping on Via Cola di Rienzo. We went inside and though we did not have a reservation, we were kindly seated by the staff. The food...was....EXCELLENT. My parents and I started off with the boiled artichokes and the fried artichokes. So much flavor in both. My... More

We were recommended to dine at this restaurant and it did it not disappoint. Service was good, we were seated upstairs. Waiter was very considerate and helpful since we didnt speak much italian. We had gnocci and ravioli and a couple pieces of suppli. All delicious. Nice cozy restaurant

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
