As a family of 4, we had 4 dishes, a half litre of wine, water and 2 soft drinks. All for 44 Euro. The stuffed chicken was beautiful and the veal stew was delicious. At the end of the meal the friendly waitress gave us a complimentary wine in which to dip the homemade biscuits she had given us. Fantastic... More

We had trudged around a packed and disappointing Sistine Chapel. Foot sore and not wanting a standard Rome tourist restaurant we stumbled upon this charming little place. The waitress was sweet and helped us choose and the meal was delicious. I had a chicken breast rolled and stuffed with a mushroom based filling. We had wine, bread and I had... More

Today was dreary and rainy in Rome. We arrived a little after 12 noon and the restaurant was nearly empty - probably due to the rain - our good fortune. We were seated and told the daily menu - more choices than I anticipated. My husband and I had 2 pasta carbonara - we split a beef involinti with spinach... More

Tried this restaurant following the advice of a traveller´s guide that my parents bought before coming to visit me in Rome for the first time. What a great choicewe made!!! The place is one of the most charming restaurants I have ever been to. It´s rather small so we waited a little bit outside until a table was cleared for... More

By far one of the best restaurants that I've tried during my one year stay in rome. It's not only that the food is very good and the vine cheap. It's also the atmosfear. Every time is the same, conversations crossed between tables, often if you're two you will end sharing table with another couple and the conversation will flow... More

We had a bit of trouble finding the place, the streets around there are a bit confusing, but we went twice in 3 days. This is a family-run restaurant that has been around for about 50 years if my memory serves, originally opened by the current owner's parents. The man serves the tables (sometimes his daughter helps) and another lady... More

Our family ended up eating twice at this restaurant as we were welcomed with friendly service, amazing food and a warm atmosphere. They have a verbal menu with a range of enticing options. Lasagne, eggplant side and stuffed chicken were all dishes that were extremely delicious.

Small and cozy, this place is the real deal. Just a few tables, no written menu, friendly staff (son of the late owner), and great, real flavors! Pasta, lasagna, you name it. Beautiful, great experience.

Came to Alfredo e Ada by recommendation from a friend. There was a big line out the door....GOOD SIGN. When I asked for the Menu...I was told there wasn't one. They cook what a couple of things, and you can choose from them. While waiting in line, we were the last ones...Alfredo came out and asked if we wanted a... More

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals.
