Best local restaurant in Rome

We got complementary sparkle wine as a starter. All the food we ordered were really delicious. We cancelled one of the dishes because we were too full to eat another one. The waiter was very kind too. Reasonable price. The place is a little hard to find but it is worth going.

A very good restaurant, very good food in a very picturesque narrow street, we sat outside in a quite street, service was very good. They serve a welcome sparkling wine drink which finally we chose a bottle to drink. Its a bit hard to find but its worth it. When you see various photos of restaurants in Rome you think... More

Escape the hustle and bustle of Rome in this Ristorante in a little alley between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. I booked online and arrived a day early. Luckily it was early in the evening - 7pm so it wasn't a problem and we all had a good laugh about it. We shared bruschetta with tomatoes for starters then I... More

We managed to book an outside table twice here during our 4 night trip to Rome. The service was exceptionally friendly, by far the best we have experienced in Rome with the waitress being very knowledgeable about the wine and food. Great rustic food and wine made us return the next night for another enjoyable evening. Worth searching out and... More

We recently tried this beautiful little restaurant and would recommend it immediately to anyone going to Rome. Set in a quiet alley, it served the most delicious rustic Italian food. Definitely a well hidden secret which was popular amongst the locals. Also served gluten free pasta which was a lovely suprise. Would definitely go again.

On a quiet square north of the Piazza Navona this restaurant may be a little hard to find but is worth it for authentic food at reasonable prices. We were greeted with two glasses of process which was a nice and welcome touch. Despite the the threat of late afternoon rain and thunderstorms we chose to sit outside which was... More

Enjoyed a pleasant evening meal here. Sat outside and enjoyed the seafood risotto. Expect a few musical entertainers (some rather good) and street sellers. Price was reasonable.

We went to this restaurant based on the location to our hotel and the reviews on Trip Advisor. We found it easily, but felt like we were going to a out of the way place that only locals might know about. I wished we could have sat outside, but the temperature was too high and humid for our group. We... More

If you are tired of Roman Tourists, Tavernetta 48 is for you. While it had tourists they were only part of the clientele. They have a very reasonable set lunch menu for 15e. I had tasty Carbonara and steak. I sat inside because of the heat but there was exterior seating as well. Wifi too. Will recommend and return.
