Very good pasta!

We have eaten at this restaurant on mutliple visits to Rome and keep returning - the food is superb! We had a divine pasta dish with truffles on this last visit. The pasta is fresh and taste home made and the flavours amazing. Very well recommended!

Well, we (there were 2 of us) had high hopes for this place based on a lot of the trip advisor reviews and they were nowhere close to being met. The owner was enthusiastic and friendly prior to seating us and it was all downhill from there. Slow to take our order, slow to bring out our food - even... More

The food is good, and the service as well. It's that kind of restaurant that as soon as you take your seat, you know it will be a good dining experience. As I've read in other comments, it is true that at 11:00pm or so they take a big bag of trash through the restaurant, despite the clients, which stinks.... More

My family and I went to this restaurant and had the best lunch ever. Grilled lamb and lasagnas were fantastic and we enjoyed every minute there. The staff was kind and friendly and the restaurant nice and clean. They serve traditional italian food and everything, including their tasty pasta, is homemade. It's located just few steps away from Pantheon. We... More

We did have a nice afternoon late lunch. But that has more to do with rome than the restaurant. My pasta was under cooked even by Italian standards. My husband has spaghetti Al vongole. He said it was fine. We had a mozzarella salad to start. Cheese was good, greens rather wilted, tomatoes over ripe. Like ready for throwing away.... More

We went here on trip adviser's advice and were bitterly disappointed. It in no way is a 4 and a half star standard. This was the worst meal we had on our visit to Rome. I had the chicken and pepperoni, my wife had pasta with peas and sausage and my daughter had pasta with bacon and cheese. My chicken... More

Unlike most of the restaurants dotted along the arrival in to the Pantheon, this one is authentic, good Italian food. Simple, elegant and delicious. There's no member of staff preaching the wears of their food to passers by, unpretentiousness and really tasty. You won't go wrong by ordering anything from the menu here.

I went twice to this restaurant and I ate tripa, saltimboca and spaghetti alla vongole. Everything was really good and tasted like Grandmother's food, big portins old plates, very traditional and old. The second time we went, we had reservations and when we order spaghetti alla vongole, there was no clams anymore but we said we went there specifically for... More

Went with a large group and we tried much of the menu. Pasta was good and well prepared and the portions are generous. The fillet has a bit hit for three of us. I had the mussels and the sauce was excellent and the mussels tender. We tried four kinds of interest wines from the small but well chosen wine... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
