Wonderful experience and great value

Firstly let me say that the food was terrific but the service is a whole different story. We went twice as we thought maybe the poor service we got the first time was just a one off but no it seems like bad service is a common theme there. We also got charged for tap water, for bread which we... More

Small restaurant very near the Pantheon. Interesting method of retrieving ordered wines from overhead shelves - did I mention that this is a small place. Good food, pleasant staff. An enjoyable dinner.

Restaurant is located in the middle of a long alley of restaurants with pushy servers trying to get you to eat at their place. This was one of the very few places that didn't have the annoyance factor and one of the main reasons why we selected the place. Plus it looked very nice and cosy. It was a great... More

We had dinner here last week and it was scrumptious. I had Cacio e Pepe and my husband had a ravioli. My parents had the bolognese. Everyone loved their meal. The pasta was so good. We waited outside about 2 minutes and they gave us drinks while we waited. We had some wine until the dinners came. Eating dinner near... More

One of our best meals in Italy. Pasta was fresh and flavorful. Filet was the best beef we had in Italy. Great service and staff as well.

Fantastic meal after a very interesting Ryanair flight! Greeted with a glass of Prosecco whilst they arranged a table outside for us. Delicious pasta, Italian meats and caprese salad with a bottle of Rose. Extremely good value and struggled to find anywhere better.

We went on a weekday dinner and had the outdoor seating. There were only 4 outdoors seatings and the restaurant was quick to fill up with locals and tourists. We had handmade pasta with clams and pasta with generous serving of truffles. Both pasta dishes were well made with generous servings and very delicious. We enjoyed them a lot. Service... More

Do yourselves a favour and avoid this place. Horrible food, service not much better....it felt more like a self serv cafe having to lift our own plates and hand them over other customers while they ate as the owner was too lazy to walk around the table. Ordered a simple ravioli which came out half cooked the addition of black... More

It is a battle of restaurants in that street but even when you have to wait, you probably get a little drink. Food is perfect, ambience is bery nice. Good service and high speed but no pressure even with 2 little kids. Price is ok not too high!

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
