Little restaurant close to the pantheon. Best pasta and seafood we had in Rome. Was recommended to us and was such a breath of fresh air from the typical tourist stops. Very very fresh and very friendly. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

My friend, our daughters and I had dinner here a few weeks ago. I have to say we were all disappointed, especially after reading the glowing reviews. We'd made a reservation and they moved a couple when we came in to accommodate us. The staff was all very friendly and the gal who waited on us spoke very good English.... More

We pre-booked a table having been recommended to dine here by friends. Delightful and quirky interior decor. The food was exceptional the staff very friendly and welcoming. All in all....it was our best meal in Rome and our party agreed it was a wonderful dining experience.

The wait staff, particularly Katia, were very kind and helpful. The menu is traditional Roman and proved to be delicious. Fun and intimate atmosphere. We will visit again our next time in Rome.

Read a lot of reviews. Just returned from the restaurant. Bottom line, from our own experience: much, much overrated. The staff was friendly and professional. Antipasti were very good. For primi, we had ordered pasta with white truffles and fettuccine with porcini. Then came the wait ... And we waited, to a point where our waiter stopped by our table... More

We went to Italy on a pilgrimage trip with school and were told that we must go here. We had to make reservations a week in advance - completely worth the wait. They warmly greeted us as we walked in and gave us champagne while we waited for our table to be ready. The wait staff was excellent and was... More

This small restaurant steps from the Pantheon serves fresh, local cuisine expertly prepared and served by a warm, friendly staff. I try to visit every time I'm in Rome.

My wife and I visited da Pietro for lunch last week. We were both very satisfied with the our food (pasta and meat). Although the ambience may give the impression of confusion, this definitely does not apply to the food and service.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
