Expensive but good atmosphere

The staff were friendly, making us feel welcome. However we only ordered one soup and penne arrabiata (gluten free) and the guy who took the order seemed offended. The penne was tasty however my sister's minestrone soup wasn't quite so good as the pasta was undercooked.

My boyfriend and I looked for a place to eat for our last evening in Rome and had wanted something simple but not too touristy. The reviews looked perfect so we booked a table and were excited to go. When we arrived first impressions were charming, it's only about 8 tables inside. We were seated by staff that seemed like... More

First of all the house wine was terrible! it was the worst house wine we've had and we drink house wine every time. The actual pasta dishes we had were good but my wife got put off by the wine so much she couldn't enjoy the pasta. Maybe something was weird about the wine because he didn't bring it from... More

Popped in for lunch after seeing the Pantheon. Had to wait for a table, but the owner gave us free Prosecco and nibbles while we waited which was a nice touch. Food was excellent. Tomato and Mozzarella was fresh, pasta was tasty and filling. Profiteroles were fantastic and all washed down with a lovely bottle of Prosecco. All of that... More

Even if you have pretty good food for that price, nice atmosphere in house, you will get my worst points for such rude service. Please, don't rush me while I'm finishing my wine. If I ordered in English, don't ask me arrogantly in Italian, to change my table for finishing my evening. If possible keep away from puffy waitress.

We had there one of the best meals during our trip to Italy. Nicely decorated interior, great food and its presentation. Great house wine. Romantic atmosphere. Less than 50 metres from Pantheon. We really enjoyed this place.

By far the best food we had on our trip: we went twice. Fresh Italian food, wild boar, truffles, carpaccio etc. You know it's good when Italians eat there.

Nice location near the Pantheon, also not bad value. I had tomato and bacon pasta which was quite nice, no complaints for 8 euros. Staff friendly and quick service.

Went here for birthday meal. 2 out of 5 starters came out wrong. Within a second of notifying the waitress these were given free with no offer of giving what was originally ordered. Mains ok but clear ingredients are poor quality, particularly the meats which were all very fatty. House wine very nice though. Staff kindly brought put a free... More

Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
