Went after seeing all the good reviews but it was nothing special and not cheap. We ate a lot better than this in Rome and cheaper. Tables are far too close together and your chair back is touching the one behind. Food served erratically too as vegetables came out a good 6-8 minutes after the meat. You can definitely find... It's very hard to find a really decent restaurant in the Pantheon area as it's full of tourist traps. Many restaurants actually have staff standing outside trying to lure you in which is something I absolutely despise. Always avoid restaurants that have photos to illustrate the food and translations in various languages outside too. This little place has none of... More

We went there for lunch and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get a table as it was 100% full. The waiter (or owner) was kind enough to give each of us glasses of Asti Spumonti because of our wait. Food was wonderful and service just as good. The only, very minor, complaint is being so small it... More

After wandering around Rome we were looking for somewhere for lunch. This tiny little restaurant looked inviting with several boxes of fresh mushrooms stacked on one of the tables at the front. We sat at a little table on the shady side of the street, with a chilled bottle of Pecorino and enjoyed a fine lunch. Simple salads to start... More

You will have dozens of choices on where to eat in Rome no matter what area of the city you visit, and I urge that you do some homework in advance in Trip Advisor. Two rules of thumb are generally true: first, if locals eat there, it must be good; second, if someone is beckoning you to sit at an... More

We were lucky to be staying at a hotel near the Pantheon, and having this gem of a restaurant a few meters away. In a busy street filled with restaurants trying to hustle people in, you have this small and authentic Trattoria serving local families and tourists a like. The service was always friendly, the food always great, and the... More

We have just returned home from Rome and are missing the food at pietro. We were there twice in a day. We had lunch and was impressed but the food and ended up going back for dinner. The waitresses are friendly and the food is simply gorgeous and very generous portion especially the wine. Fantastic and we will be back... More

What an amazing place we were so glad to find this lovely place. Greeted with a Prosecco. Wonderful menu. Great prices and to cap it all the food was excellent. The service was superb. The wine suggestion worked so well I felt that somehow bad news was going to come any moment - it did not!!!!! We must go back... More

I had a nice evening here, very near Pantheon, on a busy restaurant street. If you stay outside you get to see the people and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. I had the Bacala - one of Rome's speciality - and I loved it. Quality, quality, quality! The stuff is very friendly!

In Rome we came across the best restaurants that Italy had to offer, this was one of them. We had a liver dish that was mouth watering, out of this world. The pasta that is made in house was amazing, everything was spectacular. We had a little bit of language barrier with our server, but she was so friendly that... More
