We woke up early and came here for breakfast. All the pastries were fresh. Luckily, they spoke a little English. We ordered a pastry with some kind of raspberry jelly and dark yellow sweet frosting. I originally thought that was cheese, but it was not. It tasted okay, just not something I'm used to. The other item was some kind... More

I stayed at a hotel down the road for 8 nites, thru 4 May and used this delightful café as my home base. Each day I had fresh squeezed orange juice, pastry and plenty of café Americani. I usually got a gelato later in the day and had several nice meals outside. They have a great little appetizer buffet and... More

We stopped here twice for take-away paninis and some pastries. Staff was helpful and prices were reasonable. Paninis were tasty. We tried a selection pastries and all were very good.

We tried three times this place. We had a card of our hotel for taking breakfast in this restaurant. The three times were been a unconfortable moment: the staff didn't care about us. The breakfast (a hot drink + a cake) was correct but the staff of this place is just horrible. They are not helpful at all, unpolite and... More

Pasta (bolognese) served aldente and not the biggest portion but okay Shnitzel - okay too Morning staff - A little on the rude side, coffee if rushed is horrible Night Staff - Fantastic, i loved... Food is just OK but nothing really special or very authentic. I am not saying that there is something wrong with the food, although for trying the authentic italian food, there are other better options in Rome. Take into account that the prices are notably more expensive if you take a sit up at the terrace. Tired staff and not... More

If you are looking for traditional Italian food I wouldn't recommend going here. The food was not disgusting but it wasn't very good. The staff were nice but they mixed up our order. The pizza was salty and the dough was really chewy. It was like eating wannabe Italian food from home. Other reviewers have said it is not so... More

After a chat with the woman behind the counter of which pastry I should choose, she recommend the tiramisu. I took her suggestion and my girlfriend continued to take it out of the refrigerator which was behind us. The woman then proceeded to come back from the back of the display of pastries to take the tiramisu and asked us... More

We received a coupon from our bed and breakfast to have breakfast here every morning. The coupon included a croissant of our choice, a coffee of our choice, and an orange juice. The coffee was excellent and the croissants were very tasty. The service was also very friendly. We really enjoyed starting off our mornings at Il Pasticicciaccio!
