Wonderful, flavorful food near our hotel. I had the homemade pasta with mushrooms and crab while my wife enjoyed lasagna. A glass of local wine added to our enjoyment.

This restaurant is on a side street perpendicular to Largo Arenula near some Roman ruins. I ordered linguine with pesto which was delicious. Almost all of the meals are under 15 euros, so we found this very reasonably priced. The staff spoke English and they accept credit cards. We arrived shortly after they opened in the evening on a Monday... More

Lovely little restaurant down a narrow street off Via Arenula and a welcome break from both the busy streets surrounding it and the midday sunshine. Ordered pasta, gniocchi and dessert along with drinks and coffee. Food was simple but very tasty and it was quite pleasant to sit outside watching the world go by. Service was very good, staff were... More

Great food and service. 3 generations, 2 families from both Northern and Southern Hemispheres in our party. Traditional Italian family fun, food and memories! Will defiantly be visiting there again!

Pleasant little restaurant tucked into a back street off Largo Torre Argentina. Decent food and service. Nothing outstanding, but okay for a meal or two.

My wife and I ate a satisfactory meal here at a reasonable price. No real complaints but service was slack, salads and coffee were forgotten and there was an absence of attention to detail one might expect in a better restaurant. That said, the food was fine and we enjoyed ourselves.

Even when central Rome is swarming with tourists, the Sant'Anna is an island of authentic, dignified, old-fashioned courtesy and traditional Roman cooking. It is not a gourmet experience or in any way luxurious. It is a neighborhood trattoria of warmth, pride, and excellence--in short, the real thing.

Stumbled across this restaurant after walking from piazza Navonna. The restaurant is in a lively area with a few bars frequented by locals, always a good sign. Nice menu, with plenty of choice, and not overly priced. Enjoyable food, good pasta dishes and good wine choice too. Waiters were very attentive and at the end of the meal offered an... More

Wine 9 euros and lovely pasta dishes. Down a narrow street. Staff were very nice and very attentive. Place was quiet which was surprising.
