Atmosphere is not very cozy. The staff is not speaking Engish, but menu is written in different languages. Big collection of vines. Pasta is good, but pizza and meat is middle level.

The pasta dishes that me and my friend ordered were really good and costs approx 12€ each. We had carbonara and meatballs. The manager was very cold to us after we said we do not want wine or anything else to drink. Spoilt the experience despite the really good food.

Excellent choice near San Giovani in Laterano! Carbonara was perfect. Here you can have a nice traditional italian dinner. Prices normal!

The waiter was friendly and gave information on everything. I asked if I could altered my pizza and my request was accepted in a friendly and very polite way. The pizza I had (margherita bianca, with bufala mozzarela and rocket, was great and the first and second plates of pasta my Italian and Greek friends had, were exceptionally good as... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the area and we went to this restaurant literally 4 out of 5 nights we stayed in Rome, either for dinner, dessert, or drinks. It is filled with locals, and the ambiance is lovely and quaint. The pasta dishes and desserts were amazing. There is also a great wine selection (get the Nero Buono... More

Since my first visit in Rome a few years ago, everytime I come back to the city, I finish coming back to this restaurant. It is always amazing! The food is fresh and always something new to try in the menu, the wines are excellent (Please, follow their recomendations, they know what they do!) and the staff is always with... More

I found this memorable restaurant on the way to our hotel. The street was a bit dirty, still near from Termini station. We entered from small entrance of the restaurant, and were quite surprised because there were full of Rome people, everyone laughing, talking and eating happily! The restaurant was always crowded, we finally came here 2 nights, it was... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
