Our first restaurant in Rome.

A lovely place, big portions for a low price. A good first step in Rome. Consider this place to be more for Italians then guests of Rome.

warm cosy feeling, food was absolutely amazing, very delicious pasta's and pizza's, the price's were very good, it is a hit with the locals due to it being busy for dinner. staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We visited Rome last year and this became our local as we were staying at the Hotel Dei Mellini. So on our return this year we decided, even after some poor reviews, to try this place again. We have booked for every night we are here after our first night. The service is second to none. The food is amazing.... More

Dear Customer, I'm sorry if you didn't like our food. And I'm sorry that our waiter didn't ask you the reason why, usually it doesn't happened. But this is not a good reason for you to say that I'm not able to do my job. And to offend me and my staff. I'm the chef of this restaurant since 1986,... More

Having arrived earlier in the day this was the first restaurant we stumbled across where the menu appealed to us. We shared an Antipasti between us which was lovely and was really filling. For mains we ordered two Veal dishes which were lovely, we ordered a side dish of mixed vegetables to be told we could help ourselves to the... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff as cozy and affordable. The interior looks pretty usual and not cozy at all. The food was served quickly but it took them forever to bring the check. Pasta with paprica was way too hot; spaghetti with meat sauce were ok. We were told at the hotel that we'll receive a 10%... This restaurant is located conveniently close to the Vatican and offers true Italian food that tastes very good! I had the ragu and my friend the carbonara and we were both very satisfied. Unfortunately it took way too long to get the food served and if they speed it up a little bit it will be worth a 4´in grades.

Dear Customer, thanks for your review. I'm sorry for your late service but our food is all fresh made and this is why, especially when the restaurant is full, it could take few minutes more to wait! Good and fresh food need more time to prepare! Best wishes Enza More

We were recommended this restaurant by a member of the hotel staff who knew we were Italian speakers. We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked, 5 minutes later it was packed and they were turning people away. It is a traditional family run business with the waiter taking orders old style, no pad all remembered in... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
