Good food + value for money.

We wandered here one night after sightseeing and were not disappointed. Pasta and Pizza were both very very good and very reasonably priced. Would recommend the Carbonara and the Amatriciana! A traditional, family run restaurant with good food and service.

We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel. We arrived late on our first night (of 3) in Rome and it was close to our hotel, so we ate there. We were so happy with it that we went back there the 3 nights of our stay. Francisco served us on 2 of those nights; unfortunately the service was... More

Whilst visiting Rome for three days we ate at this restaurant every night. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent value for money. We mostly ate outside as we enjoyed eating Al fresco.

Every dish I have ever tried here has been a keeper. Never disappointed. One of my favorite is the Carollo for lunch. It is a serve yourself display of cooked fish, vegetables, meat. You will love it all!

We had lunch there today and can highly recommend the antipasti buffet! The staff were welcoming, friendly and the overall experience was most enjoyable. We highly recommend this trattoria!

My daughters and I ate there for dinner one night and lunch a couple of days later and really enjoyed our experience. Accommodating staff that spoke English well. The food was reasonably priced for Rome and our meals were some of the best we had during our stay. Our various dishes included a couple of pizzas, veal saltimbocca and veal... More

Location was excellent, with tables outside which were perfect. Greeted by a gentleman whose English was much better than my Italian, and received a table quickly. At that point, another waiter took over our service. He proceeded to ask a question, took our order, then acted as though he understood that we were to share courses. He did not understand.... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
