Great price for a homemade pizza

Had a vegetarian pizza which cost only Euro 6! A cold mid size drought beer set you back euro 5. The pizza base taste very good indeed though would like them to put a bit more mozzarella cheese as topping. Service wise is quite welcoming & friendly. Hey... euro 6 for a full size pizza, that's... read more

Our group of 7 ate at The Mirror on our first night in Rome. We were jet lagged and exhausted from walking miles that day, and this place provided a great kick off to our adventures in Italy! It was lovely to sit outside and people watch while enjoying cold wine and beer. The food was simple but fantastic -... More

Really cheap menus, staff are friendly and quick. We had the pizza menu for 10 euros including appetizer, pizza, dessert and a drink. We found it just as good as all the other pizza places.

We stopped in here fairly late because their menu of the day had a vegetarian option. Some in our party had pizza, which was also delicious. There are two small rooms indoors, and patio seating, it is right by the bus stop and easy to find.

After failing to find a restaurant where we wanted to eat on the river walk, my family and I stumbled upon The Mirror. At first, we couldn't get a table because it was packed but, 10 minutes later, we secured a lovely table outside. The menu is simple - pizza, salads, calzones and a full bruschetta menu - but they... We were a group of 12 and shared various 3-course menus. The quality was acceptable and the quantity on the low side. Beer wasn't cold and the white wine marginally cool. All sorted out with a few cubes of ice. The ambiance, we sat outside, wasn't the best in the area and when I went indoors I wasn't impressed in... More

The Mirror is a friendly little spot at the southeastern end of Trastevere. The waitstaff was very nice and the restaurant offered several prix fixe menus for fair prices (€10, €14, and €16, each for three courses and a drink). My calzone was massive and my wife's pizza was great, too. It's not necessarily a must-stop place, but if you... More

Had a lovely lunch here, everyone was really pleased with the food and the gluten free pizza was absolutely amazing. Perfect for a lunch stop when experiencing Rome and I would sure return if I ever am in Rome again. Good prices, service and environment!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
