Great Italian atmosphere

I had dinner here on my own whilst working in Rome. The staff were friendly (their limited English and my limited Italian got us through) and the atmosphere was great (lots of Italian families out for dinner). The antipasto buffet was pretty special, the pasta was ok, and the dessert was amazing... read more

First Italian meal in Italy. Went to lunch with family. I had the seafood spaghetti. Daughter had ravioli. Both good and reasonably priced. Will go again.

Our receptionists from Hotel Lodi recommend this restaurant for us. They recommend as to order three to four plates and share them. Good advice, because portions were quite large. It was old stylish roman restaurant, with nice décor. At the starter we took antipasti plate from buffet. Buffet was really diverse – huh, hard to choose  Second plate was... More

We just moved around the corner and went here for the first time. We shared linguine with lobster - and that was just awesome!!! We then had each a Pizza which were good. Definitely will come back to our new local!

Great place! Real Italian restaurant, not touristic. The food was good, generous portions, honest prices and the waiters were nice. I recommend the buffet for starters cause it really looked good but I had already ordered and eaten when I found that out.

This was a great find hidden off the tourist route with great food, service and prices. All of our food from appetizer to dessert was great and the server was very attentive in all our needs. I would recommend if you want to get away from the tourist and get great value. Would go back for sure.

Got the address from a pure local. Not easy to find and far away from all tourits trap. Fantastic true italian/roman food from pasta to fishes. Prices are really correct. Got Spaghetti alle vogole for the primi, and were really good. Then a spigola, grilled. Was Ok. Tiramisu all uovo. Not so common, but good. Very friendly staff.

It's the typical roman place where they just open the door and customers (and tourists) will come in. So they do not invest too much efforts into it. Location is indeed very nice and also the atmosphere is nice. Food is reasonably good, but avoid the pizza that is quite bad. Service is terrible. Worthwhile if you get an open... More

I dined here twice when the ristorante was about a third full. The food was good, but the waiters were more interested in watching the football or talking to each other. If you do not mind a slow night, then you should enjoy it.

We used to live in he neighborhood for some days using WIMDU to have our appartment in Rome. La Villetta was recommended by our very nice host Pierfrancesco. And is was worth it! The restaurant is located outside the city center inmidst of a neighborhood. We were the only tourists. A lot of loud Italian families with their kids were... More
