Perfect pizza and sandwiches

Simple and perfect square pizza and sandwiches (prosciutto, bologna...), seems a place where romans go to eat,

We stopped here on a bike tour and WOW - the guide did not lie. We sampled many pizzas around Rome and this was, hands down, the best.

Great pizza by the slice, pastries and bread. Perfect little bakery in the corner of the piazza. Lots of variety all of them outstanding. Quick easy lunch!

We waited until the doors opened for dinner time (4:45 p), when locals and tourists were lined up at the door. Inexpensive good pizza. No seating, so take it outside and eat in the piazza.

The place is situated in the corner of Campo de Fiori market square. Tried their pizza - it is perfect! Do not miss this place!

We stopped by to get pastries in the morning but found the place more oriented towards bread and not pastries. While the croissants we got were good they were a bit dry. Only wish we were locals and I'm sure we would have brought home a few loaves of pane. They don't serve coffee. Try the bar across in the... More

Watch by the door and see the locals pile in for their lunch time slices of pizza. Inside and myriad of pastries, breads and savoury ascolini (olives stuffed with tasty stuff, breaded and deep fried, very moreish) are there for the choosing. You can also watch them make the pizzas if you look through the side door.

Try absolutely anything and you will not be disappointed. Some of my personal favorites are prosciutto and mortadella with mozzarella. The arancini is a delicious treat too. For three euros, you will not find a more perfect lunch in Rome.

Tasty and good value. Thought the choice of toppings could be better however, and far too many people in a small space!
