Description: The pub takes its name from the world renowned Irish National Theatre, which was founded by William Butler Yeats and Lady Gregory.Stage props and costumes from the storerooms of the Abbey Theatre have been used in the decor, giving the pub a very special atmosphere. The six fully air conditioned rooms of the pub are spread over two floors, and a huge range of Irish whiskeys, cocktails and long drinks are on offer, as well as Irish beers on tap including, of course, the famous Guinness. The Abbey Theatre offers irish, italian and international cuisine all day everyday. We are able to show all major sports throughout the pub on 14 TV screens. ( NFL, Premiership, Serie A, Rugby World Cup...). The pub has a happy hour during the daytime, live irish music every week, and free Wi-Fi.The pub also offers private parties or weddings. Our welcoming pub, is considered one of the best in the city and it is laid out in typical Irish style with lots of little rooms linked by narrow corridors.

A change of pace for the site seeing traveler. I call it my Packer bar because I was able to watch the game there, but really they had all of the games on TV's. Great food and beverages at this Irish Bar making you feel like your back home for the night.

Came across this pub - there was a good atmosphere and a good mix of people from all over the world watching either Football, Ryder Cup or Rugby. The staff were friendly. Just one slight niggle - do they have to advertise "Car Bomb" cocktails on a Friday? Coming from Ireland we had terrible experience of the real thing (Claudy,... More

I love pasta and pizza, but after 14 days in Italy, everyone needs a break. We searched for a long time online for places walking distance from our hotel that served anything else- sushi, chinese, burgers, we didn't care what, just no more pasta please. We found reviews on this place and decided to check it out. It felt like... More

If in Rome during American football season, visit this Pub. They show American college football and NFL games. Great place to mingle with other American sports fans. They offer traditional Irish and American pub food. The quality is average, the price is average, but the atmosphere is excellent. You get everything you expect in most any American Sports Bar. A... Good food, nice service and great atmosphere in this little irish pub in the earth of Rome! The decor is great, traditional just as an irish pub shoulde be. We had 2 irish breakfasts and 2 veggieburger both of which were very tasty, beer was nice too! Prices are reasonable, would definitely visit again. Not the best irish pub in... More

After a long day walking the streets and seeing the sights of the Eternal City, I highly recommend you cool off with a Harp, Guiness, or Magners at Abbey Theatre Irish Pub. The bartenders will quickly learn your name and make you feel right at home in the intimate environment that surrounds you with the classic pub mood of dark... More
