I stayed at the Egrife Palace hotel and this was really the only choice, but I walked away happy. The service was very good, the atmosphere cheery and bright, and the food was fresh, Italian, and not that expensive.

We are staying for a couple of nights in a horrible hotel in the middle of nowhere while joining a tour and we only found 2 restaurants nearby. The food was very mediocre, the prices high and they force you to sit in a crowded noisy area where you can't move your elbows, even if there are empty tables around... More

Great Italian Food and tremendous old Italian ambiance with a wine cellar to die for! Nicola and his staff treat you like one of the family and feed you like one too!! There isn't a bad thing on the menu and it is extensive, Wait-staff is the best. The restaurant is a taxi ride from the Vatican are and is... More

The food was very good and service was prompt. We stayed at Ergife hotel and was recommended by the hotel. It was a nice 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices too.

Nice menu, illustrated with photos to avoid surprises; limited but fair wine options; relatively fast service; and very reasonable prices. And the atmosphere is great!

Very nice little restaurant for dinner. Not overly pricy, and the people are nice and very helpful. Went there in the early evening, plenty of space, plenty of time to sit and enjoy. Not hurried at all, not a ton of tourists.

I spent there 4 nights for a dinner last week. I was very satisfied with a perfect sevice and hospitality. Original interior in Roman style. Perfect menu with Roman original meals. Especially " I primi piatti" - spahgetti and pasta. The best pasta - orginal meal - Spaghetti alla carbonara in roman style - the best in my life. Go... More

We returned to this restaurant after a gap of some 4 or 5 years! Now, we stayed in Via Aurelia and it was very convenient. I'm afraid to report that, as per a lot of Roma restaurants and locations - they've become very spoilt with non-stop tourists spending money and that standards have dropped. I mean both food and service... More
