The Colosseum and the Forum followed by L'Asino d'Oro - what a morning! I had this restaurant on my 'maybe' list just because it appeared to be a little far from the main sights, but everyone was on a high after the thrills of Ancient Rome, so on we walked. It really wasn't as far as it looked on the... More

We approached the restaurant from the Via Cavour end of Via del Boschetto rather than the Via Nazionale end and took longer than we anticipated as we wound our way through a group of streets packed with bars, restaurants and many people. This was obviously a great entertainment area that unfortunately we only got to the once. Once we found... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and didn't disappoint. Delicous set lunch menu, appetiser, entree, main, dessert and a glass of wine for 13 euros. We arrived at opening time (12.30) and got a table without a booking but you would have to book if arriving any later a the restaurant was full after half and hour.... More

We went here for lunch one day having read a review that this was a good value lunch spot. We were quite lucky to get a table when we turned up- booking is advisable as it gets very busy. We had a lovely 3 course lunch of bruschetta taster, soup, gnocchi, bread and a meat course. We had a glass of... More

This was our second time here for dinner, and it was just as good our first a couple years ago. Very creative and thoughtful menu that covers a lot of bases, an excellent wine list and attentive service in a neighborhood-y place. You can sit outside, but the street is quite narrow, so expect to have a close-up view of... More

Had lunch today there with my fiance and some of his work colleagues. The food is pretty alright, and you get different stuff for 13euros, but in the end, it is not a lot of food. However, if you want to go there for lunch, you must make a reservation!! Otherwise, you won't find any place. Don't bet on your luck... More

This was the best meal in Italy. We hade booked earlier in the day and were welcomed by the staff like family. Presented with a beautiful amuse Boucher while we contemplated dinner. A beautiful pasta to start of duck liver followed by wild boar. The dolce was wonderful. For what we received very reasonably priced meal. Do yourself a favour... More

We had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere with friendly staff. A really unassuming place from the outside in a pretty part of the city that we hadn't yet explored - a real find!

We had four courses (appetiser, soup, pasta, and main) plus water and wine for 13 euros each. The courses were very tasty and well presented, and the wine was more than passable. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, and would like to try it for dinner myself.
