By local dishes the chef means recipes from the Central Regions of Italy (Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio). I had a great chesnut and chick pea soup and then a beef stew (pepone) that I really enjoyed with a glass of wine. The service staff are great and the bill is good to be in the centre of Rome.

Lots of interesting dishes but they all seemed to be brown! Some of the combinations work much better than others. The quail with chestnut 'stuffing' was a sea of brown goop out of which poked the end of a small quail and for some reason a bit of soggy toast. Other dishes were better. The wine list is extensive and... More

We went here based on a number of positive Trip Advisor reviews. It's located on a road with a number of good restaurants and were hoping for a good meal and we certainly got it. I would certainly recommend you book as it’s a small and popular restaurant. The menu is very interesting and the food delicious, from the amuse... More

This restaurant serves really creative food at great prices with excellent service. It's small so make a reservation and be aware that the servings are very big so you may not want to have 3 or 4 courses. We tried because the menu is so interesting and we wanted to try as much as possible but even sharing some courses,... More

Although situated in the tourist restaurant area of Rome this place serve refined, high quality dishes and excellent wines at reasonable prices. The chef goes the extra mile by serving a healthy, less classical Italian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Each time we come to Rome, we arrange it so we have as many evenings as possible when we can dine here. This time we were only able to dine here twice. The ever changing menu is creative and delicious. Dishes that may sound simple, like rooster salad are sublime. The owner/chef is a genius. We also find that the... More

Intrigued by the interesting menu as we walked past, we stumbled on this place completely by accident and I'm so happy we did. The food is traditional Italian cuisine, executed perfectly, with some more adventurous dishes. All very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, informative and welcoming, they even let us sit at a table and browse the menu... More

This little restaurant is situated in a nice part of Rome, which is pleasant to walk around. They have outside seating, which can be pleasant if the weather's right. The interior was stylishly decorated. The food was very good and we had the following- * Complimentary amuse bouche of vegetable soup with a crouton with ricotta cream and blackcurrent jam... More

This place is in the Monti area of Rome. Plenty of places to dine in the area, but do yourself a favor and try this place...you will not regret it. It might not be in the top 100 on Tripadvisor just yet, but it will not be long before it make it into the top 20. The service was great,... More
