Reliable Sardinian fish restaurant

Great fish dishes, in particular the antipasti and the primi. The main dishes a bit too traditional. Excellent service and decent wine list with both Sardinian and national whites. The place would benefit from some more daring, a few new dishes among the antipasti and the primi are excellent and... read more

Went on a recommendation from our hotel and didnt regret it! We had a great salmon carpaccio, spaghetti al vongole, and some languastines. Excellent dinner and very reasonable.

I have been back after many many years and was amazed to see more or less the same staff running frantically as if still teen agers. The decoration has somewhat improved and the food, already good at my time, even more. Prices too, inevitably. Restaurant was full on an August Monday night, lowest possibly season and despite hefty prices and... More

Although quite a distance (taxi journey) from our hotel by the Spanish Steps, when we first arrived at the restaurant we thought it must be the wrong address – it looked run down, off the main road, and we wondered if we’d made a big mistake. Great fish, really fresh. The service is friendly and you can get genuine advices on the menu. The raw fish is amazing and teh price is right for the quality. The location is not great but ok

So this is a Sardinian restaurant, and it is run by the crew of Adnan Kashoggi's yacht who in the lat 1980's hung out on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia with the great "bonfire of the vanities" that has become the Emerald Coast. Kashoggi if you have been hiding out on some remote asteroid was a superb Saudi Self promoter... More
