Let me get this right out now - this restaurant has one of my favourite pasta dishes (the linguine with shrimp) and I'd love to go back for it, but sadly I cannot. Where to begin. We arrived at an nearly empty restaurant and were seated promptly. The waiter arrived with a bottle of both still and sparkling water and... More

Dear Sir, we are very sorry for his unfortunate experience but it 's clear that you are talking about another namesake restaurant in the center of Rome !As you can read from our menu exposed outside the restaurant we don’t cook Bolognese souce and price of hour homewine is 10 euros for one bottle. Considering the professionalism of our work... More

Went here for dinner one night. Food is ok. They have a singer and musician that entertains while you eat. Experience is fine, but if you are in Italy for the food, there are many other places to eat more interesting food. The entertainment is a little "hokey" but, I guess if you just take it for what it is,... More

We have been coming to this restaurant for 3 or 4 years now, so it's high time to write the excellent review they deserve. The food is among the best in Rome, which is why we come here almost every day when we stay in Rome, which is usually 2 or 3 times a year. We have ordered from the... More

Had a lovely evening here with friends. The place was very quiet and the waiters were super friendly and attentive. The owners came by and even showed us the basement wine cellar with the artifacts and mosaic floor found there. The food was excellent - we had octopus and calimari, fava beans and pasta and veal and fish and it was... More

The porcini mushrooms roasted and served whole (my wife had 2 servings). The menu has a lot of variety, separate sections for first and second courses of meat vs. fish. Went there on the recommendation of a friend, who had a photo take with the owner. As a reward, they "comp"-ed the appetizer wine and limoncello to cap the evening.... More

Our Tauck tour group ate at this restaurant in late August. It was a wonderful evening. We began with drinks in the ancient cellar room which has many artifacts on display. Our dining experience consisted of several delicious courses and was highlighted with musical selections by an opera singer and accordionist. I wish I could remember their names. Our service... Had a lovely meal. The owner was very nice showed us around his cellar which was full of artefacts and a very old mosaic. Can recommend the ravioli with cheese and spinach. Beware the tiramisu as it packs a coffee punch, it was delicious.

There is no menu. The owners welcome you like family and serve you up what they have put together for the day. We had first pasta and second pasta, served direct from the pan it had just been cooked in, followed by two meat courses and then dessert. All were so flavoursome and fresh and we were bursting at the... More
