Stopped in while waiting for our hotel room to be ready looking for a light lunch and glass of wine. Wow were we impressed. Everything was perfect - service, friendly staff, wine, value. Stayed a while and enjoyed the great setting. And, since this was our first day in Rome we asked a few questions and the staff were more... More

Really good service and decent food...but the best cappuccino so far! We stopped here twice. Once to eat. I got a "side" salad that was large enough for four and my husband got a hamburger made with veal and lamb which he loved! The second time, we sat for a cafe only and received the same exceptional service!

We stopped here for lunch today after reading the reviews on TA. The decor was very nice and the manager/owner was nice; however, we were disappointed in the overall experience. The menu selection s not great. The waitress was terrible. She took forever to bring us water and was so slow to take our order that the owner had to... More

Very nice atmosphere, staff is quite kind and the food is good. May be a little bit pricey but just a little and only some items of the menu, besides for Rome it's nice to be able to find an authentic place like this and it's worth the price.

Dinner for 2 adults and 2 children but they coped well with the dietary preferences of youngish children and the adults food was delicious. Beautiful stylish decor and welcoming atmosphere - we ate in two neighbouring establishments on other nights the same week for similar final bills but this was several notches up in professionalism and quality.

We were recommended this place by a friendly guard at the Vatican museum. This restaurant is only 2 minutes away from it. The inside of the "Osteria" is beautiful: Modern yet classic, stylish, clean. The service was amazing, especially Christiano did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were a little to early for dinner, so we... More

Osteria della Commari does not have a large menu, but the ones that are on it are all server with aq little twist either in the flavor or in the presentation that makes the whole difference. I had two meals there. Excellent service both times. The mint flavored pasta was delicious and different. They care and it shows.

Beat thing about Commari - traditional Roman food that's been updated just enough to make it stand out from the rest. Every dish is unique, and you won't be disappointed no matter what you order. Recently took my mother and a group of 5 friends from the USA. They were expecting "spaghetti and meatballs", and were so excited to discover... More

We ate here a few weeks back on a Sunday whilst visiting Rome for the weekend. The food / wine was excellent and the staff were really friendly / welcoming. We would highly recommend. We also ate at ad hoc which again was good but this was our favourite. We will definitely return when we come back to Rome.

Nice staff, good atmosphere, great spaghetti. We tried the aspargis carbonara and truffle spaghetti, and it was the best spaghetti we have ever tasted.
