Friendly and welcoming

The host (owner?) was charming and welcoming to my family after our tough day trooping the Rome streets. The food was simple and delicious. The establishment is very clean and well zoned so that we were not disturbed by other guests, even though the place was packed. Highly recommend!

Went there for a lunch, restaurant was empty, not a good sign. Food was not that good (gnocchetini with mussels and spinach), small portions, not tasty. Dessert was OK, but again, nothing special, panacota with frutti di bosco. So tried it, but will not go back.

I write this review only because I hate seeing restaurants like this with so high ratings. Just because it's better than other 9000 from 10,000 restaurants in Rome, it does not mean this makes it good. Very nice staff and interior but the food eas just eatible. Nothing to do with what I expected from an italian restaurant. There was... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the guesthouse we were staying in and we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is full of atmosphere with mood lighting and exposed brick wall. The food was delicious. The basket of fried vegetables were sweet in the crispy batter and not greasy at all. The steak was cooked to... More

If you are hungry after hours in the Vatican Museums, walk just 2 more blocks off the cheap touristic restaurants and you will find this pearl. The staff was welcoming (but no hassle!), the food was really excellent, very well presented and abundant. With an busy afternoon ahead, I stayed with beer; the beer menu shows a choice (and description!)... More

Quality food, friendly service, good wine, full of locals. Had this been our first dinner in Rome, we would have eaten here each night. Reservations a must!

As soon as we walked in, we were impressed. The restaurant was full of Italian families and groups of local friends having lunch. Always a good sign in a foreign city. The service was attentive and cheerful and the food very tasty and plentiful. The pasta was freshly cooked and just al dente.I was also impressed by the cleanliness of... More

Absolutely one of the best Resto in Rome. The quality of the food and service are excellent. Self- made delicious pasta, good list of wines (they also have half bottles), wide variety of good traditional Italian food from the starter to the second course, the crew were accommodating and service oriented. Quality wise, we paid less than we expected and... More
