We knew nothing except we were hungry and there seemed to lots of Roman families having brunch/lunch at this place. So we joined the line. This place has an informal type of 'service'--buffet style. You pay a flat price for everything and extra for beverages. The food is generally good, not gourmet, just solid fare--pastas, salads, soups, and mostly healthy... More

Here we go with the typical place which usurped a resounding reputation...While of course locals tend to disdain this kind of fake of authentic and glorious Roman cuisine, tourist may fall victim of the establishment's allure as a "trendy" place. Avoid the trap. A couple of weeks ago, Thursday night, 9:30pm, I reluctantly had to join some friends who regretfully... More

We have been there for dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was the second time, and we wanted to give a second chance to the place, even if the 1st one was not a success either. The starters were served after 20 minutes. The fried vegetables were nice but my octopus was really chewy. Then, after another 40 (forty)... More

We already have been here and we came back because the food was always good. Yesterday we didn't eat well as we did in the past. Actually, considering the prices, the quality was quite low. We were thinking to rate 2 starts but we rate 1 additional start because they didn't charge one pasta dish (which was not good and... More

This was an experience one expects from a group of well intentioned amateurs who had opened their restaurant a couple of days ago. Atmosphere captured a sense of modern romano. Very very good. But the excitement of the setting was badly let down by the quality of the food and service. Antipasta for 2, was nicely presented but over priced... More

I decided to go for two stars only because of the beautiful veranda, shabby chic style, and very accurate interior design. The cuisine itself is very basic and overpriced. At the end of the dinner our bill was overpriced for a total of 6 euros (including 2 euros for the served bread - never asked, nor eaten). These few things... More

One of the first restaurants I have encountered in Rome. First, we had starters with wine (delicious!) while waiting for 20.00hrs to hit the clock. As it was time for dinner, we were offered a cozy table. I personally thought the service was okay. You did have to catch attention of the waiters. Otherwise, the food was good. The decor... More

We ate dinner in this restaurant furnished with very good taste, particular and beautiful! I'm not roman so I ordered typical roman courses, pumpkin flowers with scamorza cheese and alici ( a little fish like sardine) and carbonara pasta (cooked in perfect way), everything was very good but I didn't like the plate, a too big salad bowl, it wasn't...
