Popular sunday brunch spot!

Good but slightly overpriced Sunday brunch buffet (€15), good range of food from pasta to salads, bread/crustini, meat dishes and desserts. Drinks extra. The food is prepared fresh and chefs are constantly bringing out new dishes. However, this means that you could miss some things - when I went... read more

Eat here often - always reliable, good food, good service. Best seating is outside on roof - in summer, bring mosquito repellant!!

Great place, location, service, presentation and food! Loved everything I ate here! But especially i like the Tiramisu which I have been several times just to order this! Indulgent!

I never write online reviews but I decided to do one after last night's terrible experience. Also, I am a native Roman so I can offer a local, unbiased perspective that hopefully can be helpful to the Tripadvisor community. The food was very average, especially if you consider the high prices that they charge. My grandma (God bless her) could... More

Very nice place were we had dinner on the first floor terrace overlooking the neighborhood, animated by many nightclubs! Good traditional roman food with proper service. Don't miss if you are visiting Testaccio!

We went with a reservation for a group of 16 colleagues ! They prepared the wrong table, didn't manage to serve all the apetizers together or close to each order so that some people were finished they courses and others were still awaiting for the starter !!! I've asked one waiter to pour me some more wine pls, which was... More

I have visited this restaurant as a suggestion from a local. It looks nothing special from outside and walking up the stairs you might wonder, if you are at the right place. But this is an absolutely astonishing restaurant with a beautiful decor, fresh flowers (even in the toilets) and a very nice terrace. I would say it is even... More

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel manager. Be sure to go to the upstairs restaurant. The night we visited it was full of Roman families having a good time. The menu is really interesting. There is Pizza and pasta but also tripe, osso bucco, liver and ox-tail. Local wine was very nice and the bill was very reasonable.

just back from a social dinner for a conference, I found the service poor, the quality of food medium (meat dish surprisingly poor) and we even had a negative surprise for the final bill. We were 48 people and they pretended we paid for 50 because we had reserved for 50 +/-5 people (the restaurant was half empty!). The charged... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
