I've eaten here the past several years every time I am in Rome. It is out of the way, unpretentious, but with excellent classic Roman dishes.

Luckily we turned up just after 19.00 hrs as this place filled up in no time and people were being turned away by the dozen. Very good authentic Roman food, excellent staff, really good value drinks (1 litre of wine for 8 Euros, a bottle of Prosecco for 14 Euros).

We read the reviews and were staying just round the corner so it was a must to try. We were lucky to get in staright away. Seconds later and we might not have made it! My advice would be to book or go early. If there's no table do persist as it's well worth the wait. A very relaxed family... More

This restaurant serves very good traditional Italian food at a reasonable price. The place is very small so make sure you make reservations. Approximately a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum.
