I had lunch at Necci dal 1924. Our server was Andrea. He kindly helped translate the menu. He also worked with my friend and accomodated her order to be vegetarian. Everything was excellent including our espresso. The food is not traditional Italian but it is well prepared and priced.

Went for a meal with my Dad where we had a first course and second course. The atmosphere was really great. Really great decor and good music. Our waitress was very helpful and explained the menu which was all in Italian. Food came in good time I had pesto gnocchi and my dad asparagus and salchicha pasta which we both... More

It was so great to sit on a terrace, drink wine (omg this red one was so so good) and eat delicious food, where probably few (ok, even more) years ago was sitting great Pasolini. Such a lovely time I spent there. No more to add Strongly recommended

I organized my evening at Necci for myself and 19 guests with Massimo, he was great. He accommodated every single request and made one memorable evening for us all. 20 of us came and found that we were given an amazing table on the terrace outside. As a former restaurant manager I understand these large parties can be difficult to... More

We had dinner with a bunch of friends. Great tastes for both appetizers (Polpette di Melanzane and Fiori di Zucca were both delicious), and first courses (I had a very tasty Calamarata with Calamari, and enjoyed also the Strozzapreti with carciofi). But the service was really embarrassing: we waited half an hour to get a bottle of wine, and the... More

Being there for dinner last week, after hearing a lot about it. I liked the layout, with reference to the great cinema artists of the 50's, the food was good, well prepared, earthy traditional food. I loved the little cinnamon touch on the animelle fritte. It really lifted the plate. Presentation however could be better given the prices and the... More

We found this little gem by mere coincidence, looking for something open for a late lunch. We are glad we did. The place was very authentic and had a beautiful garden full of local parents and kids running around. A very peaceful place and we were the only tourists there. This is not in the centre and we’re not sure... More

Staying in a b&b's close by who recommended this place we strolled in and on a busy Saturday night without a reservation they gave us a table. The hostess kindly explained the menu in English even thought we came prepared with phrase books. The wine list is extensive well resourced ! Our meals were amazing no room for dessert but... More

This is a great spot for coffee, sandwiches, pastries, and to hang out with the locals. No rush, no worries... just great. This restaurant has been operational since 1924.
