One if not the best eating out experience that I've had, and I'm hard to please. The food is great, but it the personal touch and attention to detail that really makes this place what it is. I don't want to disclose too much about the restaurant as the surprise element enhance the experience. Book months in advance to save... More

We decided to try Machiavellis from reviews and managed to get the last table available for the night. From the moment you step foot in the restaurant you are treated to personal service and a sincere love of food and wine by the staff. The food is exquisite and wish we had larger stomachs to try more of their delicacies.... More

We visited here quite a while ago but I can still remember the food. Delicious. The whole experience was divine. The service was awesome, the food was awesome, everything was just perfection. The food is traditional Italian cuisine cooked wonderfully. You'll definitely want to book before you go though to make sure you can get a table!

My visit to Machiavelli Club was not recent - about March 2013 - which is what makes me feel compelled to write this review. I think back on this dining experience fondly and often. When I remember our trip to Machiavelli, it stands out to me genuinely as one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. As you can... More

We thought other users would like to know that this restaurant closes in August until September. The 5 star rating is there as I can't really fault them for taking a holiday! :)

This is a late review as have been waiting for Mauro to send me the Tonnarelli recipe he promised me but despite requesting it in both Italian & English I am still waiting - please Mauro !!! The restaurant is quite difficult to find being not in the CBD & down an alley . Our dinner was a birthday treat... More

Long story made short we spent 3 weeks in Italy for our Honeymoon and we traveled to all the major cities in Italy. This was our first meal and one of THE BEST. It's a hard place to find and we walked past it 2 times. Me and my wife and 4 other people were the only ones in the... More

We had seen reviews of Machiavelli's on Trip Advisor and decided to book a table for our trip to Rome - and we weren't disappointed!! The owner, Mauro, knew who we were as we walked in and made us feel so welcome. We received a complimentary glass of prosecco which we had whilst he talked us through the menu and... More

Booked in advance to dine at this coveted restaurant per tripadvisor. The hostess was wonderful and the servings of alcohol copious; however, the meals sounded many times better than they tasted. As my Italian friend once said - if you want to eat well in Rome then dine at a Jewish restaurant.

Food and ambience was simply excellent in this "hard-to-find" but very special little hidden place. Mauro knows best about his food, origin of ingredients and wines! You can ask him anything and he will make some time for you! Would definitely come back any time!
