Hearty Italian Meal

We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Rome. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is very good. I wasn't overly impressed with their pizza, but their antipasti and pasta were very good. The tiramisu seemed more custard based rather than cream, which was very tasty... read more

Staying over the road and the Brigantine was shut so we tried this place. It was 14.30 and they closed at 15.00. Pizza was off the menu, the small Moretti/Peroni was sold out before we had even sat down so not off to a great start!! Pasta dishes all round and I can honestly say it was more like hospital... Very Good pizza, light and thin. The restaurant was really hot, I don't know if they don't have air conditioner or if it was broken. Red wine from the house was ok. When we asked for the bill, we'd seen 3 euros for a couvert, even tough we didn't eat it.

Really good quality food and the house white was also very good. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel welcome. Also, amazing value for money! This place has very cheap prices for what is a lovely meal.

I visited Il Nipotino due to trip advisors good review and it was indeed worth to visit it again! The staf was really kind and helpful, I loved the colours and te decoration of the restaurant but most of all I loved pizza! Try margarita which costs only 5 euro and it is huge, enough for two people! Pasta was... More

Last night my husband and I went to this rustic and cute little gem. We just loved the atmosphere, the walls decoration and how the tables were set up. It was exactly what we were looking for. The waitress was super polite and nice. Even the girl in the kitchen didn't lose her smile for the whole time we were... More

Amazing service, really amazing food like really amazing. Really authentic Italian with a rustic feel and the waitress was very friendly. I had the prosciutto pizza and my girlfriend had the caprese (basilica oil, buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes) with a bruschetta starter and they were all really tasty. The only thing I would say is don't order the coffee but... More

This is our favorite place to go when we visit Rome. I stopped one afternoon to ask to bring a student group here in the evening and they very kindly rearranged the tables in their small restaurant to accommodate the group. The appetizer for 2 is fantastic and enough for 3 or 4.

This small restaurant was just over the way from our hotel, the Tirreno, so after having had a foot aching day in the city it seemed the ideal place to go. We're so glad we did. The young girl running the place was so friendly and helpful. A treasure. My partner had rigatoni with bacon and pistachio while I had... More
