Tucked down a laneway, this restaurant would be one for locals or visitors looking for something different. No tourist menu here. Excellent seafood prepared in modern Italian style. The grilled octopus was both crispy and soft at the same time. Venus (black) rice and lobster had some hidden treats. The monkfish nicely set off with cherry tomato. Service also first... More

We visited because of the many good recommendations on TA and we were quite surprised, even worried to discover that we were the only ones on a Tuesday evening in early March. Luckily we didn't hesitate to go in and give them a try: We had a very memorable evening with absolutely fantastic food, great wine and a very interesting... More

I booked a meal for my parents for their anniversary, from the UK. Carlo was fantastic in helping to organise this and the booking process was very smooth. My parents were welcomed personally and came back very happy having enjoyed a wonderful meal. Thank you Carlo to you and your team! Hopefully I get to try Sensus one day! Luke

I had here one of the best meals I've had in Rome, especially for all the raw seafood options. The owners are very friendly and full of suggestions. The chef is superb.

This was our final dinner in Rome and I'm so glad we ended on a high note. It was a really good fresh seafood restaurant tucked away off the busy Campo de Fiori. The ambiance is lovely - small, chic, warm, inviting. We were warmly greeted by Marta and she provided great service! She is a doll, and couldn't have... More

For our 3rd anniversary, my husband invited me to this wonderful restaurant and I was very impressed by his choice. The name says it all: Sensus is Latin and the restaurant provides to a real sensorial experience: the place is gorgeous and extremely confortable, with dim light and bright colors. The food selection is mainly fish with high quality and... More

on the third evening of a four night stay in Rome, we quite by accident found A Casa Mia in a non tourist area (if such exists in Trastevere area of Rome) and had a delightful meal. The maitre'd mentioned that the owner, Carlos, has another restaurant near Campo d'Fiore that is special. So we agreed and he called and... More

Chose Sensus based on TripAdvisor reviews. Carlo responded immediately to my email requesting a reservation. We asked for an early table - and as we arrived, the evening's fish was just being brought in from a small delivery van. The fish is as fresh as possible, and the kitchen is smart enough to embellish it only a little, and let... More
