For our 3rd anniversary, my husband invited me to this wonderful restaurant and I was very impressed by his choice. The name says it all: Sensus is Latin and the restaurant provides to a real sensorial experience: the place is gorgeous and extremely confortable, with dim light and bright colors. The food selection is mainly fish with high quality and... More

This was our final dinner in Rome and I'm so glad we ended on a high note. An amazing seafood restaurant tucked away off the busy Campo de Fiori. The ambiance is lovely - small, chic, warm, inviting. We were warmly greeted by the owner and given great service by his staff. The seafood dishes were fun, a little exotic... More

on the third evening of a four night stay in Rome, we quite by accident found A Casa Mia in a non tourist area (if such exists in Trastevere area of Rome) and had a delightful meal. The maitre'd mentioned that the owner, Carlos, has another restaurant near Campo d'Fiore that is special. So we agreed and he called and... More

Chose Sensus based on TripAdvisor reviews. Carlo responded immediately to my email requesting a reservation. We asked for an early table - and as we arrived, the evening's fish was just being brought in from a small delivery van. The fish is as fresh as possible, and the kitchen is smart enough to embellish it only a little, and let... More

I recommend this restaurant. The maître d' speaks perfect English and explained the menu well. He recommended a good wine. The food varied from very good to excellent. I recommend the octopus. It was superb.

Sensus is a charming restaurant on a small side street a few steps from Piazza Farnese. We went for the crudo platter but everything was wonderful and artistically presented. The crudo platter for two was served with an assortment of dipping sauces and included gigantic oysters. We finished the home-made rolls because they were so delicious, so they brought us... More

A truly wonderful experience with very personal service from Carlos the owner. Food was fantastic, atmosphere quiet but relaxed and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble including Carlos and Marta taking us to a Rome Piano bar courtesy of their Fiat 500 after the restaurant closed in the wee small hours. Above and beyond by any standard! A great evening... More

This was one of our top 3 meals in Italy and we went to a lot of very good restaurants. this is a 2 minute walk from Campo di Fiori but a long way from the the tourist restaurants of the Campo. If you like fresh fish presented with creativity and great taste, you have to go here. the four... More

Absolutely love the place, in a tinny street off Campo del Fiori. Sensus is a smart place that services artfully presented dishes made from fresh high quality ingredients. The service is provided by the owner who is very nice and attentive to all your needs, furthermore, he likes to talk about food and wine. As a starter we shared the... More
