My favorite restaurant!

I ate here twice on a recent fun girl's trip to Rome. I have been before and wanted to share this lovely place with great food with my friends. They were not disappointed. The staff continues to be some of the most pleasant people anywhere! The food is always fabulous.

The best of the restaurant is Martina the bright and friendly owner / host... she clearly loves her customers and knows the menu inside and out. the meal was superb, starting with their involtini melanzane... simply roasted eggplant like a lighter version of eggplant parmigiano in pastry... the other, mussel soup, steamed mussels in a delightful fresh tomato broth. the... My wife and I made reservations at Al Duello based on TripAdvisor reviews. But those reviews did not begin to sufficiently praise this gem. We shared and tasted all of each other’s courses as they were served. We were both quite happy with EVERYTHING in our dinners. We must specifically mention an antipasto that Al Duello called “Il Fiori,” described... More

We found this place on trip advisor - not the easiest place to find but once we did, we were greeted by friendly staff and a nice table (although it was by the door, and it got colder as the night went on). The starter was delicious (seabass pasta) and then we had the steak which was very good also.... More

Service and food were fantastic. We all thought it was one of our nicest dinners in Rome. The interior is beautiful and elegant. We had excellent service by our waitress. We had 2 children with us and they were treated very well. Enjoyed all the food, but especially the gnocchi with clams, mussel soup, and the sea bass with cheese... More

We had a very good diner (starter + primero plato + secundo plato) with wine. The quality of food was perfect, good equilibrium of flavours, neat presentation. It can be easily recommneded for couples and friends meetings as well as business. Just a few small minutes of walk from Navona.

My family and I had a nice dinner here. Although a bit fancier layout, the staff made it relaxing with a friendly manner and the lack of hustle and bustle allowed us to have a nice conversation. The food was a bit overpriced and my steak was a bit fatty. The music was on a strange 20 minute loop of... More

I booked there on the strength of the great reviews but felt a little let down. The ambiance is not that great and once it emptied (early) we felt a bit pressured to leave. The menu didn't spoil for choice and my prawns were quite ordinary. The wine menu is fine at least.

Lovely little restaurant. Some mixed reviews on this place but I enjoyed it. Highly recommend the Fillet Steak, was amazing. Only thing I didn't like about this place was the fact they didn't treat us the same as the regulars, we weren't greeted with a glass of Champagne (cheap bubbly). Naturally you would favour the nationals however i felt a... More
