Nice place the food was ok, the service was very good and the place was quite. You don't need to reserve a table.

Found this place via TripAdviser, and we loved it. Excellent food and very nice service. Mussle soup, lamb, and tiramisu. Great value for money.

We had dinner here because of the overwhelming positive reviews and they were right. The service and food were amazing and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed to have a relaxing meal. We never felt rushed and the wait staff was very helpful/ patient as I tried to decide what to order. Their portions are large enough that you... More

We have been there yesterday. Very great service (in french or English) : he takes the time to explain the dishes, lets us taste the wine, shows the fish del dia, . .. The dishes are excellent, simple not very sophisticated, with fresh products. We had a spaghetti a la romana (just with cheese and pepper), soup with mossels, fish... More

We had two nights to spend in Rome. This was our first night, and we were not disappointed. The meal was excellent, and the chef adapted an existing menu item to match my wife's preferences. All washed down with a great Amarone della Valpolicella which I later found to be the same price as I could buy it it at... More

After our seriously disappointing meal at il Falchetto, our experience at Al Duello couldn't have been more different. The service was friendly and we never had to wait too long for the next course. While we were in the restaurant at least 6 of the 12 tables had a second sitting, with a mix of Italian, German, French and English... More

We were on our last night and did not wish to venture far away from our hotel, which was near Pantheon, and having searched around found this little (only 35 seats) restaurant just a couple of hundred yards away. We visited on a Monday night when many Rome restaurants are closed, and having booked (a must!) in advance that afternoon.... More

Went to Al Duello due to its high rating on trip advisor- it didn't disappoint. Excellent little spot- food was extremely tasty and of a high quality. The fish of the day was fresh and I would also recommend the gnocchi and mussels for starters- out of this world. Went twice during a few nights stay in Rome which says... More

We were walking around to a few restaurants listed in a guidebook looking for somewhere to eat. Nothing seemed right, and we were fortunate enough to stumble upon Al Duello. We didn't have a booking, but managed to snag one of the last tables available on our first night in Rome. The food was impeccable. We enjoyed a succulent fillet... More
