I very rarely like to visit the same restaurant twice in a trip, but Al Duello was an exception. The food was delicious, the atmosphere elegant but relaxed, and the service professional yet friendly. On our first visit I had zucchini flowers stuffed with cherry tomatoes and wrapped in bacon then baked (so good!) and roast pheasant. I don't remember... More

6 friends looking for a place to eat in the middle of Rome. Based on TripAdvisor reviews booked this restaurant and happy enough that we did, although the food quality was mixed. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, but it's in a historic area, is air-conditioned and has comfortable furniture. For starters we ordered the Zucchini Flowers and... More

Had dinner with my 2 (quite discerning) teenagers. We all marked it excellent . Lovely mussel soup, octopus with black rice, followed by quail, veal and prawns with pasta. All delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We all felt relaxed. The waiter suggested a lovely Trebbiano white wine for me which I loved. Definitely worth a visit €98.50 for... More

We were staying in the same building as Al Duello. On a particularly long and tiring day, we did not want to travel far for dinner. We were lucky enough to call just in time to get a reservation. The restaurant is not very large, which was wonderful. There were only a few other parties while we were there. The... More

A very good, classy restaurant in the middle of the "old town". Good food and wine, and an excellent service.

Our family of four really enjoyed our dinner last night at Al Duello. Located just a few blocks north of the Pantheon, the location is convenient from anywhere in Rome. Our server was very friendly and spoke English very well. She had good recommendations for our dinner. The grisili served just before dinner was just baked and still warm. We... More

Ate here as our last meal in Rome with our family and it was outstanding. My sixteen year old son, said, "best meal he's ever had." Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was very nice, but still relaxed. Three of us had the Chef special where he picked two appetizers, a pasta, a main and a desert, so we got... More

We went to this restaurant based on recommendations from trip advisor and a "how to eat rome"-guide and we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable, it was by far the best we had received on our trip through Tuscany and Rome and the restaurant itself was cosy. However most importantly the food was just amazing! If you love chocolate... More
