Wonderful dinner with the family

Our family of four really enjoyed our dinner last night at Al Duello. Located just a few blocks north of the Pantheon, the location is convenient from anywhere in Rome. Our server was very friendly and spoke English very well. She had good recommendations for our dinner. The grisili served... read more

Our family of four really enjoyed our dinner last night at Al Duello. Located just a few blocks north of the Pantheon, the location is convenient from anywhere in Rome. Ate here as our last meal in Rome with our family and it was outstanding. My sixteen year old son, said, "best meal he's ever had." Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was very nice, but still relaxed. Three of us had the Chef special where he picked two appetizers, a pasta, a main and a desert, so we got... More

We went to this restaurant based on recommendations from trip advisor and a "how to eat rome"-guide and we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable, it was by far the best we had received on our trip through Tuscany and Rome and the restaurant itself was cosy. However most importantly the food was just amazing! If you love chocolate... More

Went to this restaurant for dinner last night. We had no reservation, and despite the app showing available tables, we got one in the middle of the restaurant, even though better tables were empty and stayed empty the whole night. Once seated though, the food and Servce were great. We had mussel soup, gnocchi, and fresh sea bass. It was... More

We followed trip advisor review and were not disappointed. We booked online with the Fork. The small place was full and the ambiance was nice. I had beef carpaccio for starters and vegetables wrapped in fish as main course. Both were great. The sauce for the fish dish was delicious. Portions were a bit small for the main course. My... Lovely place - good service, nice atmosphere and excellent food for a really reasonable price. Worth making a reservation as it gets pretty busy.

This small place was tucked in an alley by our apartment. We snagged the last table without a reservation and were thrilled after our meal. Lamb sweetbreads and the zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon for appetizers, gnocchi with mussels, roasted quail and chocolate souffle were standouts. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is just about three blocks off of the Piazza Navona, which is a very popular tourist square, ringed with noisy restaurants. If you are searching for a calmer experience, this is a great place. Make a reservation, as others have said, since seating is limited. We ordered a bottle of wine, a St Valentin Sauvignon Bland, for 30... More

So good we ate here three times. We tried a few other places in the Piazza Navona /Pantheon area, but this had better quality and service so we kept coming back. If you arrive at 7.30 you might snag one of their last tables but by 8 you will probably be turned away as it quickly fills up. I'd recommend... More

Visited Al Duello two nights in a row on the strength of the reviews here and was not disappointed. A magnificent starter of stuffed courgette flowers wrapped in bacon was one of last nights specials, the veal santimbocca was given top marks, fillet steak very good but the best of the lot were the pasta dishes; tagliatelle with black truffles...
