Couldn't have been better, amazing service

We stopped at the bar for a drink in the afternoon. The first time they brought us some small appetizers for free, which we found very surprising as most places in Rome will rip you off as much as they can. The second time I was a bit hungry and as I am a vegetarian we asked if they had... read more

Charged 10€ for a small cup of tea. Price apparently higher because we sat at a table rather than at the bar, but didn't tell us this until the bill arrived. Unfriendly and the lavatories dirty. Avoid, avoid, avoid. There are many better places around.

This bar is a place where you'll be able to enjoy a quick lunch at a fair price.35€ for 3meals, 3 drinks a a coffee. Food is ok, service is ok, and it's frequented... More

literally stumbled into this establishment, as it was opposite our hotel, where we stayed for 4 nights, specifically to watch the embarassment of Scotland winning the wooden spoon! great place..food atmosphere and staff were excellent...watch out for our wooden spoon trophy on the wall. Paulo , who I presume is the owner, or one of them, was particularly welcoming to... More

Bar dei Gemelli is a small Bar/Pizzeria al taglio . Go there once and you're addicted. This place was recommended by our receptionist at hotel Domus Livia and I must say we did'nt regret eating there.

Uh... after a lot of looking for nice place in the Center, with reasonable price for cappuccino : I found it!!! I absolutely recommend this place: I was there three times about 10am just after the opening and finally I found a place where I could feel great Italian atmosphere :D And I loved it! The staff / owners were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were in Rome for a week and frequented the restaurant/bar every day except Sunday because they were closed. The food was first rate as was the advice given regarding a proposed day trip to Naples. Unfortunately the day we chose to go transport was at a premium because of some festival... More

Friendly service and great food made Bar dei Gemelli a must stop once and sometimes twice each day we were in Rome. Located near both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain directly across from the posh Hotel dei Borgogoni - fantastic service from the friendly twin brothers - stop in and tell them the folks from Malibu, CA sent... Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
