We stumbled across this tonight . It looked inviting with its yellow washed walks and lighting . It wasn't busy when we went in but full when we left . The waitress / maybe owner is really lovely, warm and perceptive . I asked for the courgette flowers and she checked to see if I liked anchovies which I don't... More

We were looking for a local-ish restaurant to have some nice authentic food. This place did not disappoint !! I had the lovely red rice croquette for starter and the polenta with boar for my main course. All I can say is wow !! Everything was delicious ! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Rome !

Slow service, large wine menu but only small selection, under staffed-lots of people. Too keep from being all negative, looks nice with a complementing color scheme, therefore the magnetism and the music was nice.

You will regret it. We had just finished 2 weeks in Italy and enjoyed amazing dinners in every case. Rome, Florence, Napoli. We decided to stop in this clean looking place on the way back to our hotel with busy restaurants all around it. Big mistake. Nothing fresh. Most seemed processed from Walmart. Main courses of tuna and mussels were... More

We have been staying in the Monti area of Rome for the last week, this is the worst meal we encountered. I would urge you not to waste your money. Our party of 6 ordered a plain mixed antipasto to share which was ok. We then ordered 5 plain dishes of pasta ranging from Carbonara to a simple Amatriciana. We... More

The restaurant was quiet but we decided to give it a go. We tried to order some reasonably priced Lazio local wine....but we were slightly puzzled when the first four wines we picked on the extensive list were unavailable. The starter we shared was quite nice, but when we got to our mains, it was a different story. The carbonara... More

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We had to wait over an hour for our meal. They had one waiter and this quite obviously wasn't enough. This also applies to the cook, or cooks. When my meal finally came it was terrible. I'd ordered lamb with potatoes. I'd had this at a different restaurant the previous night and it was... More

Although empty of other guests we decided to try this small restaurant as we liked the menu. We enjoyed a hot smoked salmon starter, absolutely delicious, followed by one of the best sea bass meals we have ever had. The wine was all reasonably priced and the white wine recommended was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. They have... More

We stayed at the Hotel Artorius on this street and went to 4 restaurants on the block. This was one of the best. We walked in without a reservation at 9:00 on a Sunday night but they seate us quickly. The service was a little slow but there seemed to be only one wautress and she was run off her... More
