I used my Tripadvisor App to find a worthy restaurant in Trastevere and decided to try Marco G. Great choice ! Superb meal and great service. I had their version of Cacio e Pepe and it may have been the best pasta dish I ever tasted. My son had great lamb chops. We ate outside and it a wonderful experience.... More

We tried the tasting menu for 2 persons and a bottle of the house wine. It was very delicious and the wine was a good compliment to the food. All the waiters was apparently knowledgeable about which menu we had chosen as we were served by several. We wished the presentation of the food was done a little slower but... More

After 4 weeks of travelling Europe we spent our last night at Marco Gs in search for a fabulous cheese platter. We had missed out on a cheese and wine tasting tour in Rome and so searched restaurant/cheese platter recommendations. The location and set up was beautiful, the staff were fantastic - friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. The cheese platter... More

We ate at this restaurant for the last 2 nights and each time had a delicious meal. The pastas were excellent, as were the bruschetta. Some of the meats were perhaps slightly overcooked but the salad & desserts were also excellent. The service could not be faulted.

We went to this restaurant our first night in Rome and I think it was the best meal we had. The meat and cheese platters were delicious and the buffalo mozzarella was the best we had during our trip. The pasta was amazing, the house wine was very good and the prices were reasonable. I should also mention that I... More

We went to Marco G for our first dinner just after arriving in Rome. We chosed the tasting menu in which you can share a platter of different cheeses and meets for entry. This was exquisite especially the mozzarella di buffalo and the smoked mozzarella. We also got a platter with different pasta dish each for the " secondo piatto... More

Nothing is too much for the staff at this restaurant, by far the best one we visited and if we had stayed longer would have returned the next night. Food is great, try the mixed seafood sharing platter. We sat outside and people watched so cannot comment on the inside. We had two bottles of wine, huge seafood starter, steak,... More

What a great simple yet absolutely delicious meal! A true Italian, home cooked meal - clearly made with love and passion! A authentic Italian restaurant with friendly staff, unmissable food and great deco! Favourite feature was that it offered a few 'tasting plate' options so that you could try more than one of your favourite meals! Perfect idea!
