Outdoor seating very pleasant. Food to match.

At edge of Travestere. Enjoyed sitting outside and the food. Recommend traditional dishes. Service was good.

We decided to try this place based o. TA reviews and WE were so gald we did. From the moment we asked for a table the service was excellent, we all felt welcome. The food was fresh and very tasty (usually I find pasta boring, but fantastic clams and pasta) great wine list, fab coffee! If your in the area,... More

A great find in Trastevere .. We found the ristorante by walking on via Garibaldi and couldn't be more pleased to find such great place with such great food.. We sat outside and the food as well as the service was excellent! We ordered the seafood pasta and it was delicious. We highly recommend this eatery.

Marco G came highly recommended by the staff at the Hearth Hotel who helped us make a last minute reservation for a business dinner for 8. The restaurant was very accommodating and sat us outside. I enjoyed one of the best dishes I've ever had in Rome - a trio of cheeses including buffalo mozzarella and fresh ricotta, served with... More

Marco and all his staff make you feel like royalty when you are there. The food is fresh and really excellent. The local dishes, pasta and sea food is over the top. Great all around and not expensive. Can not wait to go back.

Me and my boyfriend came here on our second night in Rome and absolutely loved it, its setting is off the main tourist track which js ideal but still easy to find especially if you google map it! The food was faultless, I had the fennel salad and my boyfriend the bruschetta with a trio of mozzarella (which was so... More

This is such a cute little restaurant in Trastevere. Our waitress was wonderful; so cute and friendly. We loved her! The food was definitely the best we had in Rome.

We ate here 3 nights in a row (and would have kept on eating here if we were staying in the area longer) Great local food and wine and very friendly and attentive staff. My 'gluten free' diet was easily catered for.

We walked from the center of Rome and across Trastevere based on a recommendation for this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The pasta arrabiata was among the best we've ever had (and we did enjoy all of our other courses). Definitely worthy of its Tripadvisor rating.

This is the 3rd time in 2 years we have eaten at this restaurant. Service has always been great and the food very good. Trastevere can be very busy but this is in a quieter part of the area. Looking forward to the 4th visit.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
