Very average meal for Italy. I have been here for two months and that's the most ordinary meal I have had. It was not terrible but it did not live up to the reviews. Do not bother.

Lovely location in Trastevere and has a mix of locals and tourists. We had an outdoor table which we booked in advance. We had some delicious bruschetta and then a caprese salad made with smoked and regular mozzarella which was less tasty. There was then a mix up with our mains which took over an hour to arrive as the... More

Great experience We ate twice at that great restaurant, during our last trip in Italy (including our last meal in Rome). The restaurant is located in the heart of Trastevere, in a beautiful central street (Garibaldi Street). We preferred to seat at the tables outside, along the street; enjoying both, delicious food and happy, cheerful atmosphere. Among dinners, were many... More

Just by looking at this place you know it is something special. Stylish, busy, and well-presented, helpful staff give you the confidence in this place, and the food certainly does not disappoint. The area is busy, but not crowded, so you will enjoy the whole experience.

This restaurant is near Trastevere. When in Rome, that is where you want to eat as that is where the locals live and eat. Its cheap and delicious!

We were staying in Trastevere and decided to eat here for our last meal in Rome. Everything on the menu looked delicious, so we opted for one of the tasting menus. It was a ton of food, and really gave us a good taste of many different things on the menu. It started with a beautiful antipasto platter, which could... More

You are not a customer at Marco G in Rome, you are a guest..... Great food and generous portions, but service is unique. Great athosmosphere and hospitality. Do not miss it in Rome. We had dinner at Michelin restaurants and other fine dining restaurants in Rome during our 5 day stay, this was however our favourite, visit Marco G whenever... More

We had a wonderful platter of meats and cheeses here -- so large that we never ordered entrees! Great wine selection and great service.

They serve the best black truffle pasta I've ever eaten. However, the Amatriciana didn't blow our minds and I could swear that the pumpkin ravioli are the Rana brand you can buy in any supermarket. The tiramisù was delicious, but the zabaione was a bit too frozen for my taste. Friendly service. Generous portions, you won't leave hungry.

I used my Tripadvisor App to find a worthy restaurant in Trastevere and decided to try Marco G. Great choice ! Superb meal and great service. I had their version of Cacio e Pepe and it may have been the best pasta dish I ever tasted. My son had great lamb chops. We ate outside and it a wonderful experience.... More
